Evil Dead Remake?

Alrighty kids,

I LOVE the Evil Dead series… My fave is Evil Dead 2, followed by Evil Dead (1), and then Army of Darkness, (aka Evil Dead 3) which is sorta a sucky movie because people who aren’t true fans of the cult classics were unfortunately privy to the thing with the 3rd, and now think they know anything about the wonderful series… Unfortuantely all they know about is pretty much a little regarding Bruce Campbell, aka “Ash.”

Anyhoo, for those of you wondering, Sam Raimi, yes the Spiderman director who would have no job if it weren’t for the Evil Dead series, is planning a remake. Well, the first one was made almost 25 years ago, but if Ash isn’t played by BRUCE CAMPBELL, then I suspect a lot of the huge Evil Dead fan base will be quite PO’ed….oh, and Raimi isn’t even directing the remake… *sigh* This bodes ill Evil Dead fans…very ill indeed…. Of course, Bruce Campbell isn’t such a young guy anymore, so how can he play Ash? 😛
