Karma Police…

No my occulties, it isn’t just a song by Radiohead… Since I published my last post about…oh a little less than 2 hours ago, I have already received 2 emails whining about “karma.” Yes, my dearies, the “karma” police are in full effect… So let us just state for the record…

1.) I don’t believe in “karma,” at least not the Westernized and bastardized version that most people reading this blog would know of. It doesn’t exist. Good doesn’t bring good, nor does bad bring bad… Magic/k follows the path of least resistance, so sometimes even a very good intention brings very bad results, and sometimes a very dark intention brings around “good” and positive results. Think of it like this, if you push a wall, it doesn’t push you back down 3 times as hard, but, according to physics, even when you push that wall it is pushing you back… So, in the sense of physics, that there is a reaction to every action… yes, I can agree there, I suppose… but “good” and “bad” and “evil” are human concepts. There is a reaction, but it is neither good or bad, just a reaction, regardless of your intention. The lion has to kill to eat, but I’m sure the elk isn’t too positive about getting eaten…yet that doesn’t curse the lion, now does it? No…and the lion doesn’t feel too guilty, even if it has eaten already today, and isn’t starving.

That being said… I do believe that any mage should have a strong sense of personal ethics and moral character. This is NOT a religious blog, but if you have some sort of religious ethic, feel free to exercise it quietly. What I am, speaking of is the ability to rise above pettiness and wastefulness, or acting out because you are a narcissist, and to keep to your own morals and ethics when working in a magic/kal sphere. In other words…if it goes against your common sense or how you behave in the mundane, it goes against your code of beliefs in the magic/kal as well.

The law of 3 is a Wiccan belief, and exists nowhere else outside of Wicca that I know of. I respect that others believe this, but I have never seen any real proof of it, save for the bliddy idiots who invoke it in every spell they do, and then they are creating that reality by the invocation of the stupid thing. If the law of 3 were real, I would be incredibly rich and surrounded by hotties near and far, and I would be married to my first love, who is, in all reality, now married to someone else. Also, I would be beloved by all instead of just a lot of people. 😉 …alright, so the belief of it sounds rather stupid to me, but if its what you believe, then that is fine… The concept of “Hell” is rather humorous to me, too, but I have enough Born-Again Christian friends to understand that it is important to their belief systems, so if you want to believe in that too, then more power to you.

2.) Whatever type of magic/k my readers request is usually what appears here. I haven’t posted any death spells. 😉 If someone wants to know how to use dark magic/k it doesn’t mean they actually will. I give everyone due warning about the consequences, so I take no responsibility as to what they do with the information. I didn’t load the gun and hand it to you, I simply described how one could load a gun. Its up to the reader to get the figurative gun and load it, and then do what they will. As the great Alestair Crowley once said, (or so I believe it was Crowley,) “Do what thou wilt shall be the whole of the law.”

3.) There are certain spells I wouldn’t post here. I don’t believe in teaching break up spells or seduction spells because in my personal opinion they are mis-used 99% of the time. Yes, I know them, and no, I won’t teach them. I don’t know that I would even use them… The last time I used a break up spell was to help one of the people in the relationship cut the ties that bind, and help her flee the abusive relationship she was bound to.

4.) I generally don’t harm others with magic/k or curses, but sometimes the situation mandates it… About 5% of the time… rarely, is it ever neccissary. Usually, I just put a stop to whatever silly nonsense someone is trying to pitch my way in the mundae or magic/kal. That being said, even if one NEVER chooses to lay down a curse, knowing how one is done also helps teach how to reverse it. If you can’t figure this out, you are a moron, and shouldn’t use magic/k because eventually, you will get hurt.

5.) If you want to Fluffy-Bunny out on me, perhaps you should go back to reading that garbage Silver RavenWolf publishes. This isn’t a Llewellyn Publishing title, which is why you can find anything from white to black and every shade between regarding spellwork – in fact, the fact that Llewellyn doesn’t publish my blog should be your first hint that it has useful information in it.

6.) If you are scared of my spells either hit the “Personal” or “Occult” links on the bottom of the post and it will bring up everything under those catagories….or just don’t read my blog. I have several readers, and losing the 3 sissies is fine by me. Also, if you just want spells, hit the “Spells and Spellwork” links.

Well, that’s all about that. Hopefully it will shut up the Karma Police… I guess a few nasty preachy thou-shalt-not emails is what I get when I mess with them. Hmm..well, that is bad karma, but I’ll deal. 😉
