Hello my occulties…
A few of you have been emailing me lately asking why you have not seen results on some of your spellwork… In 5 out of 6 cases, the answer has been the same f—ing thing, and it is a problem that creeps into my emailbox regularly around this time of year until about Valentine’s day…
Insomuch as I appreciate that many of you are eager for the endgame (desperate in a few cases,) I must also reinforce to you that spellwork is compromised when you fantasize regularly about the outcome or start nit-picking over how it will manifest. Stop questioning the how and the why of something… If you really want to hear from that lost lover, does it MATTER how they contact you? If they parachute into your living room RIGHT NOW, is that any better or worse than getting a phone call or meeting up with them “randomly” somewhere? I mean, your desire did manifest, right?
Magic/k takes the past of least resistance. When you perform a spell or a charm, you are using magic/k or energy to influence an outcome to occur. You want to be as direct about what you want without being too thorough. For example, “I want to my ex, XX, to return to me and love me again.” Simple enough of a request… Now try this on for size: ” I want my ex, XX, to return to me and love me again. XX has to call me at exactly 11pm on this Thursday…no, 8pm tonight, and he/she has to say, ‘Remember how great things were?’ and I will say ‘Yeah,’ and then s/he will come over wearing the same shirt s/he wore the last time I saw her/him, and….” That sounds absolutely rediculous, doesn’t it, kids? Well, it is exactly what you are doing every time you fanasize or question the how/why of the target outcome. Every time you even daydream your target into a different outfit, or imagine your outcome into a different time slot, you are adding and dismissing certain avenues that the magic/k can utilize in its manifestation. It is a little like giving me the least direct directions to your house while I’m driving, and telling me to get there as fast as possible while driving, changing my clothes, and taking 3-4 scenic routes, and directing me down countless dead-ends before I get there.
DO NOT – Question how something will happen. If so-and-so doesn’t know your new street address or so-and-so said they never would speak with you again after that fight, the magic/k will utilize its energy to change whatever needs changing if your spell neccesitates that your target contacts you. Hey, I’ve run into people coincidentally several times, and I’ve sworn I’d never speak to the Fella ever again on more than one occaision and we’re still together, dearies. By questioning how something will manifest, you are unintentially misdirecting all of the energy in your spells, and then when you “strike down” a possible manifestation in your mind as being impossible, you are cutting off that venue in which you initally had sent some power, ultimately destroying some of the initial magic/k energy that you have sent out. If you keep dwelling on the how and the why of your spellwork’s manifestation, you will destroy and misdirect most of the spell…if you are “lucky,” if you forget about it altogether after waiting months for manifestation, it will appear when you no longer want it.
When you cast a spell you must not cast doubt on the same spell. This is why I instruct you to “not look back,” when I direct you to inter some sort of ritual remains. By looking back, you are casting doubt on the spell and taking away some of its power.
Keep yourselves busy. Keep your mind on other things. Keep your mind off of the spell, and if you can help it, off of the target of the spell. A watched pot never boils, and a worried spell never manifests.
When you cast a spell, and then keep your mind off of the how/why of it, it will manifest faster and better than if you are incapable of this because you are allowing the clearest path for the magic/k to take hold.
Blessings!
~Cat
