Not Dead After All

Hello My Occulties…

Did you miss me? Did I not update my CC for a whole year on Typepad? Did I? Am I bad? Heh heh heh, I sure am. >:) Well, not to fret, my loves, I am back…and I was never really dead, although I did fall into a few Stolichnaya bottles along the way. Man, that’s great vodka. 😉

Now that I am all updated on the CC info, and you are all drooling over my next exciting post (as in the one which is more exciting than what exactly has been going on with me,) I’m gonna go compose an article.

Wait a minute, Cat, you say, why have you been gone a year. Well? Therein lies a boring story. Sometime last summer when I was tearing my hair out over those effing contractors banging on my home day in and day out, my bank decided that their computer really didn’t like me anymore. Suddenly, I was like +$2000 when I knew my acct was not in the quadruple digits…or then it would be like -$500 when it should have been in the black (not red,) in the quadruple digits. Lo and behold, after months of this, I was like “Screw this, I can’t deal with it ANYMORE,” so I switched banks. This meant my CC info on TypePad became obsolete (I was using a bank card.) It was now incorrect, and TypePad wouldn’t let me in until I updated it, which meant when I got a new bank card. However, remember, there are contractors STILL driving me nuts, I was only writing 1-2 articles a month, and also suddenly…my rotten wisdom teeth really started freaking out… Hooray. So for most of the last year I have been up to my eyeballs in clients, and in April I got all 4 bad wisdom teeth out after MONTHS of suffering…and by then, I admit it, my occulties were not in the forefront of my mind. :C

But I missed you all, and I wanted to bring back the fun of the blog. It truly was better than the old once a month Cat’s Rants on the ONC site.

Re. the OriginalNinjaCat.com site…here’s the deal on that. I hate making CSS sheets. I really do. I think, and don’t squeal, that I am gonna actually buy a pre-made site and use it because I hate making websites. Yes, I know I might as well stab my graphic design prof in the heart – Sorry Mr. Martin, you know I love you, but I can make a cheeseburger too, and it doesn’t stop me from eating at Wendy’s or McDonald’s sometimes…its the same thing right? Heh heh… So, my lovelys, if you know a good CSS site, or a good host, please contact me, and pass along the info!!
