The post I wrote about possible reasons for spell-failure was in no way a reason for any of my readers to stop feeling sure of themselves or their spellwork. My inbox is literally INNUNDATED with complaints and fearful queries as to whether or not the writer of said emails has harmed their spellwork in some way, shape or form…apparently I’ve invited this – albeit unintentionally, – so let me speak to those of my more nervous readers as frankly as possible.

Guilt, doubt, and fear are by and large your worst enemies in life and in spellwork. If reading posts which are presented to help you educate yourself about occaisional spell-failure (which everyone experiences at some time, to some degree,) are in some way frightening to you or cause you to second-guess yourself, I can only recommend you not read them until you have gained some confidence in yourself and in the spellwork in question.

Over 100 of you wrote to me regarding your trepidation and how this article apparently caused issues wherein several of you have “freaked out,” and acted out negatively out of fear, or “over-analyzed” your spellcraft to an exaggerated degree. This is not good. I simply presented the information to help those of you who are sometimes puzzled as to why a perfectly good spell has failed you…it was never my intention to cause mass hysteria…quite the opposite in fact. 😉

I sincerely apologize if I made my more sensitive readers upset. As my intention was only to educate and not intimidate, I want you all to know that the article was not set forth with any particular individual in mind.

Thank you for your continued readership.

Does this mean I can’t follow my supervisors’ management technique:
When in trouble, when in doubt, run in circles, scream and shout? 🙂

Hehe, that sounds like the game plan of a few people, Dom – maybe its not the BEST game plan, but certainly some people need to learn a bit of “panic control.” 😉
