Hey all,

In celebration of the super gigantic heating oil bill I just recieved, I’m gonna say, eff money, let’s focus on LOVE! Why love? Well, because I don’t want to think about money, hahaha.

If you want to think about money or money spells (cuz I’m not helping you with that enough on this site,) please come join us all over at the Hoodoo For Everyone board!

Alrightey, before I begin (cuz I hear it ALL OF THE TIME,) we must also remember that proper action and proper thought leads to proper manifestation. What is that supposed to mean? Have faith in yourself, have faith in your spell, do not “think it to death,” and DEFINITELY remember this: spells are not insurance against acting crazy or acting against your spell. Stalking is NOT sexy, and acting like a crazy person in any way is also NOT sexy.

OK, enough of my jawing, and on with the spell!

I call this Love Heater powder, but its not traditional so that’s my silly name for it. Call it what you will. 😉 Its the best for heating up an existing relationship, or heating up lovey feelings in a new love interest.

You will need:
Periwinkle powder
Lovage root powder,
Mace powder,
Rose petal powder
Lemongrass powder
A bowl

(this can be purchased directly from Mountain Rose Herbs by clicking the banner at the bottom of the page if you are having difficulty locating any of this stuff.)

To prepare:

Place approximately equal parts of the above herbs/roots into your bowl. If you’d like to measure it, 3 tablespoons of each is probably more than enough. Mix thoroughly. I encourage you to use something like a fork for maximum mixing. 😉

Place both of your hands over the bowl, and envision red energy coming from your hands and entering the powder – try to send passionate/romantic energy into the powder until it “feels” full. If this doesn’t make sense to you (if I’m speaking in spell-vernacular and you’re lost,) then hold your hands over the powder for a few minutes while imagining sexy/romantic goings on with your desired spell target.

To use powders, you need to sprinkle these where the target will come in contact with the powder. I had gone over using ritual powders in an old post here, and here. I will give you a sentence you can use to name the powder while you sprinkle it: “Everytime (full name of target,) comes within contact of this powder, his/her love will grow deeper for me within the hour.”

You can also use this just by sprinkling it on your candle spells. Just anoint your candle in an appropriate love oil, (using seven strokes up, from base to wick,) and then sprinkle on this powder – it would work well with pink or red candles, even candles shaped like people (use the sex corresponding to your desired mate.) Be sure to make a name paper! Using a piece of paper with all edges torn, not cut, you write out the target’s name in black pen nine times as so:

Firstname Lastname
Firstname Lastname
Firstname Lastname
Firstname Lastname
Firstname Lastname
Firstname Lastname
Firstname Lastname
Firstname Lastname
Firstname Lastname

Then, turn the paper so that the names are running vertically and write your name across theirs in the same fashion as above, so it forms a bit like a grid shape. When you have done so, using a red pen, write the command in a circle around the names. Now sprinkle a bit of your love heater powder into the center of the paper, and then fold in half towards you, and then fold in half towards you again. The chant should be similar to your command you’d written on the name paper. For example, if you wanted John Doe to love you, you’d say, “John Doe’s romantic and passionate feelings grow and grow for Mary Roe every moment of every day. The more John tries to resist these influences, the stronger they become. With each passing second, John’s feelings for Mary become more loving, more romantic, more passionate. This spell shall not reverse nor place upon me any curse – as is my will, so be it!” Then, allow the candle to burn out. Place the name paper beneath your front doorstep.

As always there will be questions so contact me if you have them!

Organic herbs, spices, teas and oils.

Enjoy!

***MODIFIED TO ADD*** Someone has written in and asked if these herbs are put in a base/carrier oil, could it be used as an anointing oil. The answer is yes. I usually (since I like “smelly” oils,) put into a base of equal parts lemongrass, cardamom, rose, however, the more traditional method of using a carrier oil such as almond oil, and placing the herbs into it will work fine. Please be sure to use vitamin E when working with a carrier oil like almond or grapeseed oil.
