Hi Occulties…

Some of you have written me about when can you expect new posts…well, kiddos, your old friend Cat is here to tell you what reasons it TAKES ME SO LONG to post.

*Everything I write, I need to explain as if I am speaking to someone who is completely clueless about what I am talking about. If I try to discuss a more advanced or intermediate topic, I have the choice of either making a painfully long post to get the beginners up to speed, or posting what I want and having to answer 2,362,993 emails asking me for the beginner info, so the newbs know what in the eff I’m speaking of, especially in cases where I had not made painfully long posts in the past to educate my beginner readers about what I am trying to discuss.

*Regardless of if I explained several concepts AD NAUSEUM (can anyone say “thinking it to death,” or “letting it go”?) on the blog, and even linked to the posts which discuss said concepts, there are always people who are too lackadaisical to so much as click a link or try reading another article. This means people complain because they don’t understand clicking a link will explain to them what they want to know.

*My job makes me have an egregious amount of email which I must answer. This takes away from my spare time in which I have to write posts, and further, if I’ve been writing all day, I’m usually not very motivated to write more.

So, you asked, and now you know. Its not the definitive list of why it takes me so long to post these days, but rather just the most important reasons. 😉
