February 2010 Update

Hey everyone,

As many of you already know, I moved my site to a new host over the weekend. The site is mostly up and running (yes there are parts that say coming soon,) and the emails are working fine.

As many of you also already know all last week I had to fight the nastiness that is a trojan horse (that actually took all of like an hour or two once I figured out something bad happened) and the subsequent fall out from the free webmail companies who made me have to personally contact all of them, fill out lengthy forms, and write several times over to tell them my IP address and email are okay now until they gave me clearance to email you again. 😉 So…what took a day to fix in my ‘puter took 3-4 days to fix everywhere else. This means I had to catch up on about 4 days’ work on Thursday night, Friday, Friday night, and then I was setting up the site on its new host all Saturday and much of today. Basically I’ve been working non-stop on my days off (Saturday and Sunday,) to try to catch up. If you’re waiting for a response a bit longer than usual, please understand I am but one rootworker against a gigantic sea of emails who has been fighting Microsoft, Google, and Yahoo for to be able to email you back, ON TOP OF fixing my PC, and as well as setting up a site, and casting several spells…that’s a lot of work for a short little redheaded elf lady to do. 😉

Now, if you like your friend Cat, you will be nice to me and not get on my case because you’ve had to wait longer than normal to hear back from me. If you want to be super awesome, you’re actually going to wait til Tuesday morning before you get nervous I didn’t get your email.

If you don’t like me, you’re going to send me 18 copies each of the last 243 emails you’ve sent me over the course of 5 months, including several I replied to already, JUST IN CASE I didn’t get them. :O Yes, some people are that bad, and no, I’m not exaggerating.

As for my readers, I’m VERY sorry about my lameness in regards to posting new on-topic articles, but now that I’m almost done updating my site, and I’ve gotten at least half-way through the giant sea of emails, you can expect some new articles up soon.
