Hey everyone,
As many of you know, I LOVE David Bowie…I've been listening to his music for longer than many of you have been alive, and I'm not even that old, I've been a fan since Labyrinth (hey, I was like 4 or something, haha, so it wasn't the cod-piece…yet,) and his death is felt in a most profound manner by me. I don't even know if a week has passed since I was 14 years old that I didn't listen to something by this irreplaceable genius of a man.
Thank you so much for sharing your life and your art with the whole world, David Bowie. Having you for 69 years was a gift this world didn't even deserve, but so many appreciated. You've been lost to us far too soon – being one of the only people of your time who was even still producing great NEW music.

Thank you for being my hero, sir. For reinventing yourself so many times, and showing me that the profoundly weird among us also have the capacity to charm, inspire, and delight those who aren't as wild and strange as we are. Losing you to Grandfather Death is as hard as losing a friend I knew and loved as intimately as a best friend. No one will ever replace you in my heart or in the hearts of millions.
