Hey there occulties,
As many of you know, tomorrow (Nov 29) is my birthday. It's not a big birthday (meaning there is no 0 a the end of my age-to-be,) but it's a birthday, so I'll be taking a holiday. 😉
This year has had a lot of big changes for me. I survived a fire, I moved to another state, I doubled the cost of my living in so doing (that part is less than awesome, especially when I pretty much have to arm wrestle people to pay their bills at the end of every month, though at least now I'm like the arm-wrestling champion among occultists,) and managed to get robbed three times. So, I mean the first part was good. 😉
I also am told my book will be out by the end of the year, but no promises there as I've heard this for most of this year, heh. I know it was after another project going through and that book IS out. 🙂 So, when it's published, I will definitely have a contest to win a free copy. 😀 😀 😀 So…if you ever wanted to learn love spells, you'll love that book.
Things that stayed the same this year were that people still need to learn to stop having lust for results (it slows and can kill manifestation!), that "Future money" is not real money (in other words, tell me you'll pay me next month, and I'm never going to see you again, you're not buying anything, you just wanted a free consultation for a few hours,) that there are some awesome blog-readers out there learning tons and tons and expanding their own abilities, and that there are dabblers who just want one thing and people using review sites who probably won't expand their abilities.
Things I learned this year were that gay guys can out party me (ever since I moved in next door to the gay bar, as a heterosexual I would just like to say, wow, everyone should totally hang out at the gay bar because those guys can throw down old school!) that sometimes your oldest friends are not the people you should think are your most trusted and loyal (looking at you, people who live in this city and haven't even stopped by my new place – nice knowing ya for 20 years!!) that there are actually people who will expect to be refunded for free services (yeah, that happened,) and also…that even myself and one of the best minds in the occult can be boggled by a particular situation (even when we thought we could figure out everything, *sigh*).
So…it's been a year. I'll be out of the office tomorrow, so if you need me tonight, best let me know. 😉 I'll be here doing replies, invoicing, writing, some spellcasting, a little more writing, and at least a few more invoices. 😉
