Business Thoughts….

Hey Occulties,

So, it's been an increasing interest and I find myself pulled this way… I think within the next few months, I'll be selling services by a monthly fee, meaning people will be buying a month or more of work as opposed to seven days. There has been a move towards this sort of set up with many clients, and it would narrow down my active list and make me more helpful to those I'm working for, rather than working for shorter term work for many. I would actually lose money this way, but I think I'd be more effective for those I DO work for, while also freeing up a little more time for writing and classes. I just feel like my time would be better spread out to my active clients, and the quality of my service to those I work for would improve enough that the financial loss would be worth it…I'd rather sell quality, not quantity. I feel sometimes as if having so many active cases, I spread myself a bit more thin than I'd like. :/ 

BUT I'd rather hear from my clients. If you prefer the week-long services (which are more in range for people to afford,) I might be persuaded to keep the current model going. 

As a caveat, if I do change to the month-long model, I would also be accepting international clients moreso than I am now. Please, if you're a client, let me know your thoughts. 🙂

UPDATE – several people inquired – no, I'm not going to just throw all my seven day clients under the bus, no I am not just going raise rates tomorrow, yes, seven day service is still available, and no I don't hate you if you don't get a month of work, lol.
