So, while I realize I've said this before, I get this inquiry a lot every time there is a mercury retrograde. Basically, yes, Mercury retrograde has a tendency to negatively impact all things relating to the sphere of Mercury, which includes (but is not limited to) communication – so even things like electronic communications (which can include emails, texts, even bank transfers,) can be effected. Usually one is told not to sign any mortgage, leases, or contracts as well during this time.
BUT it's not all bad. See, while a retrograde can have a bad impact on whatever falls under the retrograding planet's sphere of influence is, it's also good for REVISITING anything which has gone sour that falls under said planet's influence. For example, Mercury retrograde is FANTASTIC for RE-ESTABLISHING communication with someone with whom communication has dropped of with prior to the retrograde. So if you and your friend had a falling out a few months ago, and haven't re-established talking to each other, this can be the perfect time to do some magic to remedy that. 🙂
So, you see, it's not all bad. 😉 If you're looking to RE-ESTABLISH communication, it may actually be helpful.
If that doesn't brighten your day (and, hey, I sometimes feel like Mercury took a crap on me personally when it's Mercury retrograde, so I can relate,) just remember that this current retrograde is almost over. Hang in there.
