Hey Occulties,

A reader asks: "Should I trust a site/store to provide me with real graveyard dirt?"

While I'm sure some people are wholly legitimate and are gathering the dirt as promised, I personally suggest gathering all of your own dirts. "Church dirt," "bank yard dirt," "jailhouse dirt," etc will look very similar to back yard dirt in many cases (implied: you have no guarantee from the seller that they aren't just taking dirt from any old place and just saying that it is a specific type of dirt). Furthermore, keep in mind that any spirit offering to allow his or her grave dirt to be used by the person gathering said dirt may not agree to allow you or another person to use this dirt.

Now, assuming (perhaps wrongly) that you live within some sort of proximity to a place where persons are buried, procuring your own dirt shouldn't be impossible, and you can pay the person for use of their dirt after they agree to allow you to use the dirt (note: no, I don't expect you to make this contract with the living person before they expire, haha, so I will post a how-to on gathering graveyard dirt in the future,) and it might even be less costly that working with a seller.

Happy Digging! 🙂
