Hey occulties,
This is a little charm is quick to make and does not require candles or incense, which I know is a relief for some of you who have restrictions on burning these items where you live.
You will need:
A small vial or jar with a water-tight lid
A chip of licorice root
A permanent marker with a very fine tip like a Sharpie, black ink
Confectioners sugar
Powdered alkanet root
Honey
A few dried cubeb berries (sometimes called cubeb pepper)
A few pink or red rose petals
Hair from each person (any hair, any part of the body, one from each person)
To make:
Use your very-fine-tip permanent-marker to inscribe the petitioner’s (person who the spell is cast on behalf of,) full name on one side of the licorice root chip. Inscribe the full name of the spell target (person to be “sweetened up”) on the reverse side. Place this in to your jar. Tie the hairs together and place these in the jar. Add a small pinch alkanet root, 3-5 cubebs, 1-3 rose petals, and a pinch of confectioner’s sugar into the jar. Fill with honey and seal tightly so the contents will not spill out. If you’re worried about leaks you might use a piece of duct tape or electrical tape around the lid – it doesn’t have to look pretty to work. 😉
Shake the jar a few times to blend the contents, and hold it in your “power hand”* until you feel it starting to warm up by the bodyheat of your hand. Now saying this chant once for each time you shake the jar, say nine times “Sweet thoughts of me (target’s name) thinks constantly!”
Shake the jar an odd number of times daily to get your target to think sweet thoughts of you.
~Cat 🙂
*There are a few schools of thought regarding the power hand, but I will mention only two. I was taught both that it is ALWAYS the right hand (and the left is supposedly the “receptive or drawing” hand while the right is the “sending or power” hand,) but then have also been taught that it is the hand you write with. 😉 I am a rightey so I never had a conflict there, but if my southpaw readers wish to give their feelings on which hand is the “Power hand” for a southpaw, I’d love to hear it. For the sake of avoiding argument, use the hand you write with or the right hand – whichever you prefer, and I obviously use my right hand as that suits my teachings (it’s the right and I write with it) as I know someone will ask. 😉
