Bottle Spell for Prosperity

Hey Occulties!

Everyone always needs more money, so I'm sure this will be well received. While there are a few ways to change this spell a bit if you feel that it does not match what you can do (and these are mentioned within the text), please remember the substitution for ingredient or action in any spell on my blog is to find a spell where you can perform all of the actions to and have all the ingredients to.

You will need:
A small bottle with lid (a round, 1/2 oz or 1 oz bottle would be perfect for this,)
Red sandalwood powder or chips
Irish moss flakes (carrageen)
Bay leaves
A piece of paper money (any denomination, preferably from the country you currently live in)
A permanent marker with GOLD or ORANGE ink
Weather-resistant string or wire

Because of the rarity of real red sandalwood (people will try to pass off a fake as the tree has a lot of restrictions on it for gathering its wood at this writing, as it has been over-harvested,) if you can't get real red sandalwood, in a pinch, alkanet root will do, though it is not nearly as effective for this spell.

While the denomination of bill can be any denomination, I do recommend not using a hugely-large or even moderately-large denomination to avoid someone breaking the charm. Most people, if they saw even a $20 would be tempted to get it. 😉 Keep in mind where the charm is placed (see below). If the location is incredibly remote, you can assume any denomination is safe. If there is a chance of enough foot traffic (even 10ish people per year,) try to use an amount that is not sorely tempting to a desperate passer-by or teenagers and children.

Place your herbal ingredients into a mortar or bowl in about equal amounts, and grind these together using a pestle or a back of a spoon. While the ingredients do not need to be powder, they should at least be relatively small grains. Place your right hand (or writing hand,) over the mortar (or bowl) and say: "Wealth and riches, shall be in (name of target)'s house and righteousness shall be in (name of target)'s house forever," five times while envisioning the target (whether that is yourself or another) surrounded by wealth and abundance. If it is easier for you to "see" energy, envision golden and purple energy flowing from the center of your hand into the mixture while saying the chant five times. Set this aside.

Write the command a total of five times on the bill, using your permanent marker. Write this first in the upper left hand corner diagonally so it goes towards the center, then the upper right-hand corner, going towards the center, in the lower right-hand corner, diagonally so it goes towards the center, and then the lower left-hand corner, again diagonally towards the center, then for the the fifth and final time in the center of the bill, and horizontally.

Place the inscribed bill within the bottle. If you need to fold it to do so, fold this TOWARDS you. Pour your herbal mixture into the bottle to fill it, sealing the item once you have done so. Hold the bottle in your right hand, and, envisioning your target surrounded by wealth and abundance (or envisioning gold and violet energy flowing into the vial,) say "And (name of target) shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that brings forth his/her fruit in his season; his/her leaf also shall not wither; and whatsoever s/he does shall prosper," five times.

Tie the rope or wire around the neck of the bottle. Find a tree to the EAST (where the sun rises, for the compass-impaired) of your home which is in a remote place, and tie the bottle to high branch, knotting it five times. As you tie each knot, say: Money is drawn unto (me/name of target) as bees are drawn to honey, and as the wind moves through these branches, so is money driven towards me. As is my will, so be it!" Walk away without turning back.

Money should be drawn to you.

Inevitably, someone will bemoan lack of access to a tree, and will tell me that they can't do this, and remote trees don't exist, and that there are no unsettled areas or even lands where no one is building and get all pissy. This is of course, ridiculous, and of course, regardless of where you live, within a few miles there will be a tree with a high up branch which not too many people will be near, but people are lazy jerks, so to prevent excessive complaining in my inbox, if for some reason you live in a desert (possible) where the land is entirely devoid of any trees except decorative trees on private land, place this on or near the front entrance to your home.
