That Explains a Few Things….

So, a lot of friends who are self-employed and run small businesses have been complaining of crappy returns, while other (and sometimes the same) friends are complaining of having old secrets and old promises starting to haunt them. Well, both Saturn and Jupiter are in shadow and waiting to retrograde, and shadow periods are weirdly often more intense for many people than full on retrogrades do. At least during a retrograde you are revisiting old goals, old relationships, or past (whatever the retrograde planet influences – love, communication,business, etc,) and having a chance to reintegrate them (succcessfully) into your life, revisit them, or even see if it's time to totally let go. Shadow periods tend to just be "everything is screwy.

So if people are paying slow, if business is slow, if you feel unsuccessful, if you feel slow at learning, if old promises you made (no longer valid,) keep coming up, if deep personal wounds have been ripped open, if you feel held down by things which are no longer important to you…well, the shadow periods will be over in a few weeks…ish. It's not you, it's the planets.
