Every Planet Retrograded on my Face at Once

Let's go over the couple of days of my life. 😛 For starters, I took Easter and a good part of Monday off, which was much needed and I felt so much better. Things were fine until about 11pm or so on Tuesday. I have a family member with some pretty bad health issues when they rear their ugly head, and this person had a flare up. This basically took my entire Wednesday and blew it up, and I am incredibly sorry if any of you dealt with that. It was similar to what happened last May, and it was hugely sucky for me….I'd much rather have been working. 

Of course, life had other plans and my computer was not going to turn on, which on Wednesday morning at about 6am, the damn thing wouldn't turn on. Before you say "what in the actual fuck, I thought it was a new computer you had fixed once already," yes it is. I had actually called the service line yesterday and because they are moving their store, this couldn't even be taken care of yesterday. It had to be taken care of today. So here I am with a dead computer, and with no way to get in touch with any client, and with no way to get anything out of my files, AND I have a family member having a severe health problem which is my problem to deal with in many ways. 

When I got up today, I was just happy I was going to get a loaner. I tried booting up this computer on multiple occasions yesterday, and to no avail. So when the service man showed up, we hit "on," and I bs you not, it turned on. 😡 Actually the emoticon (they don't exist in this platform, thus why I type them out,) might be 😀 but then I tried booting this thing up at 10am today, and it didn't come on, so this 😦 is accurate as well. Thankfully service calls like this are free, but the guy said something was probably spilled in my computer, had evaporated, and to keep him appraised if it keeps working. 

The dust of the last few days may have settled but I have no idea why this stuff tends to happen to me in the spring. Last spring was a lot like this and I really don't need a repeat of it. The computer can go to hell (I'm thinking of getting a back up refurbished cheapo PC just in case this thing decides it's dead for a day and a half again,) but with the health issue….it tends to take a month or so for that to be dealt with when this person has a flare, – and while this part is more a period of calm – I don't expect it to boil over into chaos over here, it also means I probably can't take too many late readings, and that conjures will need to be on hold for about a month. Traveling isn't going to be very possible (I need to stay close to home) and all my readings will have to be before 5:30p in the eastern time zone. I should still be available for emails almost whenever. I am going to be sending out some late stuff this evening, and I apologize for the delay. While I seriously wish the delay was that I met Chris Hemsworth and am vacationing on a tropical island somewhere with a cocktail, I'm instead still in Maine dealing with a family member's chronic illness and a computer that is apparently possessed or something.

And YES, the computer had a charge…the damn service guy asked me that, too, ha.
