In regards to my previous article

So referring back to my article regarding long-term reconciliation… a few people became very disheartened and were like OMIGOD CAT I WILL NEVER GET SO AND SO BACK AND I CANNOT WAIT MONTHS FOR THEM!!! TELL ME IF MY LIFE IS REALLY THIS BAD!?

*sigh

Look, I'm a big believer in spellwork. I've seen it do impressive things. I'm not trying to say that even the vast majority of people who are going to attempt reconciliation work are going to need to do that much work. ;) 

In saying as much, when I was a younger lady, and more prone to crazy behaviors, I did create for myself some situations where I was working on a target for a length of time longer than a month. I also created situations where I made such a mess that I didn't even bother working on it at all. 😉 No, I said "TO HELL WITH THAT," and moved on to the next best thing. 😉 If you have found yourself in a really big mess where you suspect you might actually work on a target for more than a month, but you neither wish to invest the time or effort to do a plan such as I had suggested (which is fine, that's a lot of work,) this doesn't mean the odds are insurmountable. It doesn't mean give up your day job and become a spellcasting machine for the next few months.

In fact, the situation is likely not as dire as you might imagine. It might surprise many of you, but the vast majority of requests that I do get regarding reconciliation are not "chased someone down the street with an axe" level of bad, or even close. It might surprise even more of you to know that I've had situations that were not so bad that they involve long term work, but I'd still recommend the petitioner give their target a few weeks of space to let everyone cool down. 

We had a huge bunch of retrograde madness going on for awhile, and let me be frank, it caused a lot of HUGE messes, as well as little ones. The chances are MOST people are only dealing with a "little" mess, and not looking at some super long term work, or weeks and weeks of work. 

But whatever your situation (and I do offer consultation on doing work for yourself, which, while it isn't free, is going to give you the right plan if you feel like you need help making one,) remember this..

Magic is about making what you want happen. It means that life told you "This is how it is," and you said "Well fuck that, no." Instead of feeling like this helpless victim drowning in a big sea of stuff you think you MIGHT have to do, look at it a bit more like having to take steps to get to where you want to be. It's more like a staircase, and you sitting at the bottom crying about those stairs (and I mean a basic staircase, not seven flights up, in most cases,) means more waiting until you're done crying about the stairs…because until you take the steps to get to where you want to go, bitching about not being there isn't getting you any closer. 

It's up to you if you want to take control of your life and take steps to get to where you want to be. For some people that won't be a huge investment of time and effort. I've seen things turn around so quickly, even I was impressed. A huge plan for people who basically blew up a relationship and alienated someone so far that it's going to take time is not going to be a plan many people need. Some people do, but not all people do. Don't assume the worst!

Instead, take some initiative. No matter how bad it is right now, try some healing, try some reconciliation, see if that changes the situation to your liking in a few weeks. I write this blog with the hope people will take some power back and make their lives better for themselves using the spells herein.

Don't think I've never messed up something really badly, and then wondered if I could fix it in my own personal life. I worked really hard in some cases to bring things back together, and sometimes it took a lot of work…other times, it was not so difficult to fix, but it taught me to refine my craft and to do better with each new spell I cast. Being an occult mastermind is not an overnight thing. It takes a lot of practice, trial and error, and apparently also being a jackass in one's adolescence (which I really was,) so as to have problems to overcome. ;) 

I believe in you, readers….and I do not suspect that even more than 7% (which is a generous number) would need the mega plan outlined in the previous article. Most of you are going to be just fine, and I'm sure you will fix things as needed, so do not fret that it is the end of the world.
