Hey Occulties,
Before I get to the working, I did want to thank 95% of the people who I worked for during quite possibly one of the most stressful moves of my life. 😛 You were all wonderful, and understanding, even when we had to do things like readings at weird non-business hours, so I’d like to thank you for meeting me part of the way, and putting up with the nearly constant disruption and bs I had every day (I was apparently urged to move in fast to take care of the utilities and not because this place was so move in ready, lol,) for about 2 weeks. It was not seamless, and I was definitely more of a stress-case than normal, but I will say, it’s made so many of my curses hit fast for those two weeks, that it was kind of worth it for that, ha ha. I would say the worst is finally behind us, so thank you. 🙂
So, if you find yourself in need of a bit of extra luck while playing games of chance (or some skill if you’re playing some card games,) the following can give you a better chance at winning. 🙂
This is an incredibly easy charm to make with a few tools!
You will need:
A “buckeye” nut (in the shell)
Irish moss flakes
Alkanet root powder
Lucky Hand Oil OR Red Fast Luck oil
A drill (a Dremel style is probably easiest but anything to drill into that nut works)
Wood putty
Gold paint (I recommend a gold paint pen)
A small purple cloth bag with a draw-string closure (the kind you get with a bottle of Crown Royal works just fine, – making an even smaller one by hand works just fine as well)
A small funnel

This spell is best done on a Wednesday, during a waxing moon, in the hour of the Sun, and when Mercury IS NOT retrograde. If none of that makes any sense to you (not uncommon when you’re a beginner,) just try create this item on the Wednesday that falls AFTER the New (not full but black) Moon.
Combine about a half a teaspoon each of powdered alkanet and Irish moss flakes together in a small bowl. Alkanet is often used as a DYE, so please be careful with the powder. You will not want to get it on any fabrics. Place your power hand (generally the right hand, though about a quarter to a third of left handed people find this is the left hand,) so the palm is over the bowl, and see gold, violet, and light blue energy come through the palm and into the herb mixture, while keeping an image of yourself (or who the charm is for,) winning big. Say “Money in my pocket, money come to me,” five times while envisioning this.
Use your drill to make a small hole in the buckeye nut, on the side opposite of the whitish area. Using your funnel, pour some of your herb mixture into the hole, saying “Money in my pocket, money come to me,” five times as you do so. Now pour a few drops of your oil into the hole, again saying “Money in my pocket, money come to me,” five times.
Seal the hole, and allow the wood putty to harden. As you should not need to use much, it should not take very long to do so. Paint the buckeye gold, and once the paint is set (again, with a paint pen, this should not take long, – I keep the mental image of money flying towards me and sticking to the buckeye as I paint,) hold this item in your power hand and close to your mouth, and speak the following as if whispering to the buckeye: “Spirit of the buckeye, awake, and bring luck to me this very moment, now, now” and knock it three times lightly on any surface. Bring it close to your mouth again, and say “Spirit of the buckeye, awake, and draw money to me this very moment, now, now,” then knock this lightly three times on any surface. Once more draw the buckeye to your mouth, and say “Spirit of the buckeye, awaken now-” knock it three times on any surface, and bring back to your mouth, “and draw to me luck and money, this very moment, now, now! As is my will, so be it!” Place this in your purple bag, and anoint the bag lightly with the oil. Keep this in your purse or pocket while playing games of chance or card games, and “feed” it by adding a few drops of oil in before any outing to go play at cards or games of chance thereafter.
There will be questions, so please ask!
