Cat’s Rants: Confessions of an Occult Mastermind

Hey occulties,

I’m currently cleaning up another love spell post (WordPress has an okay app for making posts but there are limitations I’ve yet to find the work around for on a phone that I can do on my Awful Laptop,) but as I am currently fighting the Spring Cleaning Clutter Demon (paired with a more frightening entity, who will name below,) I would love to get rid of some of my old stock which is usually time for a sale.

Weirdly for me, I’ve got myself at the end of a few batches of oils with 2/3 of what I own. This would be all fine and well if I personally made them all (because I’d just pour off the mother batch and refill,) but I do not make everything I use. We moved too much for a couple years a few years back (thanks Portland rental market,) so I outsourced a few of my own recipes, I hybridized a few others with friends while outsourcing, and I also prefer other people’s blends for a few things. Ritual oils are all special recipes and a few people I know make some really great stuff. The outcome is I have now run down the supply on a few things and I’m going to be putting a few large orders out which means it’s best to finish up what I have on hand before the new stuff comes. Not sure if you can see in the image below but this is directly on top and in the middle of a dresser and that right side is completely covered in little bottles 😂 I cropped the image but I’m actually trying to not have bottles in the original image which…clearly I failed miserably.

On top of this… the Clutter Demon inspired me to make my own candles. 😬 Yes, if we are social media friends, you may have heard this. This means even less space, so I will be trying to lighten up the enormous amount of bought candles we currently have. Apparently the clutter demon’s terrifying buddy, the Crafting Monster, has taken hold of my soul. Obviously, chimes and tea lights are always useful, but we have sooooooo much candles in every fckn shape and size, a few of which collect dust for 1-2 years because I maybe buy a few weird things just because I discover them in my many journeys online to find stock at the best prices. I also do not go through vulva candles like I do their male counterpart (you straight ladies are just meaner than my hetero gents and gay ladies, I guess) and could honestly rid myself of these as the ones I have are not small. I think a normal lady’s hoo-ha is fairly smaller. They were hand made by a friend and are quite the epic tribute to the female anatomy, but it’s time they go. 😂
