Good Morning my Occulites,

I know I have been very MIA lately…much apologies! This is a busy time of year for me. Sorry for the previous few posts being personal…I just haven’t had the time to go in depth into one of my 3 fields of experise (those being myself, the Occult, and the Arts,) that just happens to be the focus of my blog. But today its time for some spellwork – hurrah!!! And this one is nice and easy – for all levels!

This one hails from the great Draja Mickaharic and is one of my favorites in regards to hex-busters. According to Mickaharic, he learned it from a Brazillian. Below is from a previous posting of mine to another group. This spell originates from Mickaharic’s A Century of Spells, which should be available in any major bookstore, and is definitely one of my recommended reads.

Hex-breaker especially for when candle/fire magic/k has been used against you

You need to get a cup or mug (preferably white, but I use a
white/blue mock china design,) and you fill it with dirt (or potting
soil for those without ample dirt access.) Then you take a small
candle such as a birthday candle put it in the dirt, light it, and
allow the flame to stabilize. With a sudden motion, you take the
candle, and reverse it, exstinguishing it in the dirt. Now, bite off
the burnt end, and placing the candle back in the soil, relight it,
and say, “As the candle flame is reversed, let all that opposes me
be reversed. As the flame has perished in the dirt, let all who
oppose me come to nothing in their work.” Now allow the flame to
sputter out. When you are finished, either throw out the soil and
candle in the trash and take it out of your house, or if you are
like me, huck the dirt and candle off of your property into the
woods because it is too rural, you have no trash man, and trash day
is Saturday (when you drive the trash to the dump.)

The biggest question I get here is which end to relight. You relight the bit-off, burnt end.
