Good Morning Occulties,

This is a rather common question/problem I get in my emailbox. How does one return the trouble (magic/kal or mundane,) to the sender? This one is a pretty quick charm to make, although, I recommend a good banishing and self-blessing as well if you are being targeted by someone else. There is no such thing as protecting yourself too much. 😉

You will need:

An old compact with a mirror in it (such as what you would find pressed powder in,)

Windex or a cleaner with amonia,

A small piece of paper,

A pen with black ink,

Black tape (I prefer to use electrical tape,)

A shovel or trowel (optional,)

A photo of your target (Optional, but very helpful,) or lacking that, a witness sample such as hair, blood, fingernails, etc (also optional.)

Take the compact, and clean it thoroughly with the Windex/amonia cleaner, doing your best to avoid catching your own reflection in the mirror. Close the compact and set it aside.

Take your paper, and rip it so that it will fit easily inside the compact. You will need to write upon it, so do not rip it to a size any smaller than neccisary. If you have a photo of your target, trim it down so that it will also fit into the compact.

With the black pen, inscribe the following words on your paper while keeping the image of your target in your mind’s eye, “You who would harm me, you who have caused me pain and misery, I send all of your pain and misery back to you. All of the misery and harm you have caused me, you would cause me, and you will cause me bounces off of me and returns to you. Your lies harm only you, your hatred harms only you. Whatsoever you would do to me is done only unto you. Whatsoever evil you would work upon me and those who I love is reflected back upon you and on to no one else but you – as is my will, SO MOTE IT BE!” If you would prefer, you can replace the “You”s in this passage with the first and last name of your target. I prefer to simply use “you” if I do not have a witness sample of my alleged enemy, or if I am not 100% sure that who I believe to be working harm against me is really the person working harm against me.

Now, take the paper, and place it in the bottom of the compact so that the written upon side is facing up, still making sure that you DO NOT catch your image in the mirror!! If you have a photo or a witness sample, place this atop the paper, and if it is a photo, have it so that the image is facing upwards towards the mirror. Close the compact, and begin wrapping it in the black tape, all the while chanting: “You who would harm me, you who have caused me pain and misery, I send all of your pain and misery back to you. All of the misery and harm you have caused me, you would cause me, and you will cause me bounces off of me and returns to you. Your lies harm only you, your hatred harms only you. Whatsoever you would do to me is done only unto you. Whatsoever evil you would work upon me and those who I love is reflected back upon you and on to no one else but you, so mote it be!” over and over while keeping the image of your target in your mind’s eye. Keep wrapping the compact in the black tape until it is completely covered. When you have done so, bury or hide the compact near your target’s home or business, or if this is impossible, bury it in a graveyard or at a crossroads. Once you have placed or buried it appropriately, walk away without looking back.

If this is done properly, your enemy will soon start to suffer whatsoever they would have you endure. Do not attempt to do anything else against them for a little while at least… just sit back and enjoy. 😉

Well, that’s it today, kids.

Blessings!

~Cat

Cat, thanks for posting this. I have two questions:
    1. I was wondering what is the best day to do it? and 2. Since I’m just “returning” what being sent, I don’t have to do any purification, right?
    Thank you!

Um…well, I guess with reflective spellcraft of this type I’d use a Tuesday, Saturday or a Thursday. Really it works on just about any day, though.
Re. Purification…. Um, that really depends on your personal feelings towards cleansing. Its not an evil spell. Then again, evil is subjective. 😉 So… I mean, if you don’t regularly cleanse yourself after doing any spell, you’re going to get “dirty” with spell energy eventually even if all you do are pollyanna-esque happy and pleasant and blessing spells. I don’t see a need to jump into a blessing bath right after you do anything unless you really want to. So, while I recommend regularly magically cleansing yourself and your spellcasting area regardless of what you’re casting, there would be no immediate need to take a cleansing bath after doing this spell.
But is it a “bad” spell in the sense someone might point the “you’re being mean” finger at you? Well, no, I think we could all reasonably call it a justice type of spell using reflective spellcraft.

Thanks for the advice, Cat! I have everything together and I’m doing the spell soon–real soon 🙂
