Hello my dearest Occulties!!!!
Today, I am going to do a QYAM article, in lieu of the fact that many of you asked me questions before my vay-kay, and probably, several during it (eff the inbox, I was napping!) so, here, to enlighten you all, is another edition of QUESTIONS YOU ASKED ME!
Q: Why is x herb listed as a love herb by some, and a lust herb by others? (this question came up about various herbs.)
A: I can only reasonably assume the author telling you that a particular herb was a love herb when others specified a sex herb was either being vague, or confuses romantic love and lust as being the same thing. Since lust is generally a needed component in a romantic relationship (we usually want intimacy with the romantic love, do we not?) its not wholly off to call lusty herbs “love herbs.”
Q: What is the fastest manifestation you ever witnessed, either by your own spellcasting or by another’s?
A: I’ve seen a spell take 4 hours once, and it was my spell, however, to be fair, the situation only needed a mild nudge.
Q: How long would you recommend someone wait before divining to see if a spell is working?
A: I do realize it can be tough to wait out and see if something is going “your way,” especially when the situation is one where you’d not be made aware of what was going on in any event (suchas a break up or curse,) but sometimes, if you are wildly eager to discover where the spell is at, you can effectively use divination as you matter of thinking your spell energy to death. I recommend you not use divination for AT LEAST 2 weeks post spell-completion, preferably more like 3, though. If you can resist, then let it go, and know it will manifest, and you will find out about it…though perhaps not as soon as 3 weeks later. 😉
Q: As a practitioner, what would you say is your least favorite thing to hear from a client, and why?
A: I added this question because 2 people interested in becoming practitioners had asked. I figured it might be enlightening for the rest of you as well.
There is a long list of things I like to hear, and those that I don’t, but my LEAST favorite thing to hear is the “Yes, but.” This is what “Yes, (blah blah blah,) but….” means…it means “Yes, I know you are right, but I am going to keep on with this negative and non-productive behavior anyhow. 😉 All the practitioners I’ve spoken to hate this…if you say “yes, but,” to us, it means you aren’t listening to us, and you are going to get aggravated with us when your unhealthy behaviors further negatively impact your problems. “Yes,” is the client’s way of trying to say they acknowledge our disagreement, and “but” is proof that they don’t care either way and insist on being their own worst enemy. The worst part of this phrase is that its most often uttered by the smartest clients, and when you try to gently say, “You’re falling into old negative and unhealthy patterns,” again they come back with another “yes, but.” :S Its like a sickness…once the yes-buts start, they oft don’t stop for a long while. 😛
Q: If my name-paper is burned up during the spell by the candle it is beneath, will my spell still work?
A: The name paper getting burned in that fashion should not negatively impact your spell.
Q: Why, in your opinion, are some targets “easier” than others?
A: Some people are naturally just more open to suggestion than others. For example, there are people who are easily hypnotized because they are easily suggestible – these people similarly are often far more open to spell energies, and far more accepting.
Furthermore, sometimes the spell target is not adverse to the suggestion or force of the spell. You may think Herbert doesn’t find you attractive, but he actually does, and your attraction spell simply makes him admit this to you. 😉 So, the suggestion/spell energy in this case is not something where the spell target would resist the influence.
Q: You talk a lot about the importance of letting your spell energy go and not “thinking it to death,” – do you have any advice on HOW to do that?
A: I recommend keeping your mind as involved in THINKING tasks as possible. There is no way you can avoid no-mind tasks (those which require minimal thinking,) entirely, as we all need to do things like sweep the floor or clean the bathroom, but if you can keep your mind engaged in those tasks for yourself that REQUIRE thinking more often (reading, crosswords, video games, anything,) then you are going to have less opportunity to think your spell to death.
If you find you are employed in a job which requires minimal thinking, you might also try to “force” your mind to analyze another area of your life.
Anyhow, that is all for this edition of QYAM. Please keep (new and exciting) questions coming. 🙂
