Hello Occulties,
Just a quick charm for you.
You will need:
A small vial or jar
Alkanet root, powdered
Irish moss flakes
Cinnamon
Chamomile flowers
Frankincense resin, crushed/powdered
Confectioner’s sugar
A small lodestone or magnet
Gold paint (preferably that which holds up to exposure to water – I recommend acrylic based paints,)
Cloth ribbon (in other words not the cheap gift-wrapping stuff,) also colored gold
Some small bowls
Something to mix with (spoon, etc)
Money-drawing oil
A fine- or super-fine-line width permanent green marker like a sharpie
Optional: a funnel, an eye dropper, glue
Cut enough ribbon to easily “mummify” your vial (you can test by wrapping it around your vial before you cut,) and lay this out in front of you on a hard surface where you can write on it. Using your Sharpie/permanent marker, write the command “Money in my pocket,” over and over until you have filled the surface of the ribbon, as in the manner shown below (it can be written more than 3x, just showing to repeat the command in a straight line as per the visual example.)
Once you have completed inscribing the ribbon, place it in a cup or bowl and pour in enough money-drawing oil to saturate the ribbon. You are likely to use more than you need, so if you need to conserve your supplies, please use an eye dropper and slowly drop each drop on the ribbon and watch it soak up before dropping another drop on it. Allow the ribbon to sit overnight, not moving it from it’s container.
Using your gold paint, paint your lodestone or magnet. Allow to dry thoroughly. Once this has, using your green pen, inscribe your (or the petitioner’s) intials on the stone.
When your ribbon is almost ready to be used, in another bowl place about 1/2 to 1 tablespoon each of chamomile, cinnamon, confectioner’s sugar, frankincense and irish moss flakes together. Stir together. Add in about 1 teaspoon confectioner’s sugar and 1 teaspoon alkanet root to the mix and stir together again. Holding your vial/jar, fill this about half full with your herb mixture (using a small funnel may make this easier and less messy,) and then place your lodestone into the vial jar. Now fill the jar full with the rest of your herb mixture. Drop about 3-5 drops money drawing oil into the vial/jar, and cap it tightly.
Holding the jar in your hands, envision money drawn to yourself/person spell is for as if that person was somehow a money magnet. See their wallet overflowing with money in your minds eye. For those of you who know how to send energy, if you can envision gold and green energy flowing into the jar until it feels full, do this now. For those of you still new to spellcraft, just sitting and holding your jar while you picture yourself or the person the spell is for as a money magnet with overflowing wallet should impart some of the desired energy into the charm. If you want to try to send energy, you aren’t going to hurt yourself if you do it wrong. 😉 Just trying to send a little bit of energy by visualizing yourself doing it will send a bit of a charge.
Once you feel you have given the charm a bit of energy, start wrapping your vial in your ribbon, trying to keep the picture in your mind’s eye of the person the spell is intended for having pockets overflowing with money, a wallet overflowing with money, and as you wrap, you say “Money in my pocket,” a total of 21 times. Tie off the ribbon so it holds tight. If you can’t do that, it’s okay to use a little glue. 😉
Now hold the jar close to your mouth and breathe on it. Say “wake up.” Breathe on the charm again. Say “Wake up,” again. Breathe on the jar one more time, and now say “The charm is awake, money come to me, as is my will, so it be!”
Hide the charm on your property, especially near the front door of your business or home. Make sure it is retrievable as at some point the power in it will wear out, and you will need to remake the item.
Enjoy!
~Cat
