  • Hey all,

Since so many of you check in here for news, I decided to post here.

So, I did survive Hurricane Sandy. There was a power outage and the net was spotty yesterday so it was sort of like a forced vacation day for me. πŸ˜‰ I did get spells done, but sadly it was a crapshoot if I could keep the computer online long enough to keep email flowing so several of you did not get replies. :/ I know I’m SOOOOOOOPER DOOOOOPER late on many replies. If it’s over 7 business days old, and not a new inquiry, please resend it to me. I will not get mad, I promise. πŸ˜‰

I do hope all my clients and readers are doing well and did not suffer any serious damage to person or property during the hurricane.

I am trying to get a long overdue Questions You’ve Asked Me article up, and also a few articles on technique. I thank all my readers for your patience. Until I get a serious dent in this frightening inbox of mine, it’s going to be a slow process. :/ All of these articles I have are about a half to a third completed.

AND I’ve got books I wanted to review…because they are just awesome. Michael Cecchetelli’s Book of Abrasax amd Nicholaj de Mattos Frisvold’s Pomba Gira and the Quimbanda of Mbumba Nzila are definitely high on my list of books to review for you, so if you would rather not wait on me to get said reviews up, please feel free to go order a copy of either, as they are highly recommended. There are a few more I could add to that list, but right now that’s what I’m recommending the most. One thing – neither are beginner books. Frisvold’s might also be more aimed towards those with a stronger working knowledge of ATR’s, whereas I’d say Mike C’s book will appeal to a wider audience. I would stress again, neither will be good for the neophyte magician. If you still need to look everything up in books all of the time, there is a good chance you’re not ready for either tome.

Thanks again to everyone for their patience with me lately. I know I’ve been busy, and cranky. πŸ˜‰

    Best,

    ~C

PS, if you’re bored I attatched a random skull candle spell pic of an orange skull candle spell. Basically what’s going on here is trying to compel a certain action which is not entirely romantic in nature, but as you can see by the pink candles, that is an aspect. I can’t go into too many details for confidentiality purposes as this is one part of a larger working for a client – HOWEVER, if you would like to ask a few questions privately, the client has given their approval to let me answer your questions PRIVATELY (so not in the comments section) as long as it doesn’t give out identifying details of her case.

What you are not seeing is that the top part of the skull candle, and under it’s jawbone are loaded and set a certain way. I realize many might feel that makes the image less interesting, but I assure you, images of me heating a screwdriver and pushing herbs and commmand papers into holes on the top of a skull candle is probably about as visually interesting as the below. πŸ˜‰

No that isn’t kitty litter, it’s traction sand. Thanks for wondering, hehe. πŸ˜‰

  • Hey everyone,

I liked the “interview” process so much that I decided to streamline the consultation process for new clients using it. πŸ™‚

    A few things….

If I say I’m only accepting NEW clients from the USA and Canada, and I publish IN LARGE CAPITAL LETTERS that I’m not willing to do (type of spell) and you still ask for that type of work (for example “Hi, I’m from Khazakstan, and I’d like you to make 5 of my friends get divorced and also help me win the lottery!”) I’ll decline you for just being an assclown. In fact, I will just delete the request with no reply. I don’t have time to enlighten you if you don’t have time to read posted notices.

But let me not start out so dark. First, I’d like to thank everyone who used the interview process, and please don’t think anyone is getting away any easier than you did yesterday. πŸ˜‰ Everyone new has to fill out what is now titled the consultation questionnaire before I even start discussing their problems with them. πŸ˜‰ If someone contacted me ahead of time to give you a referral, we still need to do a consultation, it will just likely be shorter.

So, if you’re a new, never before worked with client from the USA or Canada, seeking services of the agreed type I *will* accept to be hired for, please go to the contact section of my business site, and ask for a consultation questionnaire, and we’ll have a free consultation to see if I can accept your business.

A consultation IS NOT A GUARANTEE I WILL ACCEPT YOUR BUSINESS. Just because you fill out a form, that’s more like filling out an application – it is not meant to imply I’m taking you on as a client. It’s also not meant to be a scary process – just helps me quickly determine if the case is viable and if I feel I can be of assistance. I try to be as nice as possible to everyone who doesn’t act like they are a 13 year old with severe behavioral issues, and nice to anyone who keeps their manners, even if my ultimate answer to your request is that I can’t take your business.

    Please keep in mind…

I DO NOT WORK FOR DESPERATE PEOPLE
I DO NOT WORK FOR DEPRESSED PEOPLE
I DO NOT WORK FOR OBSESSIVE PEOPLE
I DO NOT REPAIR MARRIAGE OR CAUSE DIVORCE
    I DO NOT HARM CHILDREN
I DO NOT CAST GET RICH QUICK OR LOTTERY SPELLS
I DO NOT CAST SPELLS RELATED TO HEALTH MATTERS
I DO NOT WORK FOR LIARS
I DO NOT WORK FOR ADULTERERS
I DO NOT WORK FOR PEDOPHILES
I DO NOT WORK FOR PEOPLE JUST SEEKING SEX FROM SOMEONE ELSE

I’ve also changed the selections a bit so if ALL you want is a reading you’re not being asked several questions related to spellcasting.

Thanks to everyone who was a guinea pig for me yesterday. It helped me tons! πŸ™‚

  • Christopher Warnock gives a really nice description on why spells don’t work sometimes. I am not in agreement with it 100%, but I’m thinking a 97.5% agreement means it’s more than good enough to share. πŸ™‚

  • Hey Occulties,

Wow, this took too long to get up here. I had 2 days of desk work blown away by family, so as a note to you all, it’s ridiculously rude to pretend to yourself and others that you are welcome to use your family as a free hotel with no more than 2 hours’ notice that you’ll be showing up just because they live in scenic NH, especially when the people you intrude upon view “Leaf-peepers” and “Leaf-tourists” with EXTREME CONTEMPT like I do, and work from their home like I do.

There, aren’t you glad we’re not related? Ha. πŸ˜‰

So, as promised… NEW TYPES OF SERVICES!! πŸ˜€ These are trial-run only, and MAY disappear if they prove unprofitable or just to be a huge pain in the ass. πŸ˜‰

First, let’s go over what sorts of services I offer at this writing… Basically, you can get 30 mins or 60 mins of psychic reading, and/or one “round” of spellcasting which is usually one large ritual with a few supportive rituals, these being run over a period of 7 days (often the “large ritual” needs to be worked every day of the 7 days.) While this model has served me well, and may remain the business model if the following services don’t work out, I figured I’d try out a few different offerings and see what you all think.

One month (30-31 days) of spellcasting on one issue (includes 60 minutes of live phone time during posted business hours to be used as client sees fit, free email consultation, and [reasonable levels of] free spell counseling, restricted to USA/Canada residents only): $1125
Before anyone has a hissy about the cost, consider how you’re actually getting a lot of work cheap. I will be making about 10-15 dollars an hour profit over materials, if even that in some cases. This is easily 45 hours or more of work just with spellcasting – so that doesn’t even include time writing emails, discussing concerns and issues w clients, and etc. If you paid for this all individually, it would cost likely more than $200 more than it is here advertised. If this option survives past a month or two trial run, it is likely to go UP in price. The issue will be spellcast upon every day for a month.

Sweet jar + 4 weeks (12 candles) of candles on sweet jar – $125 A lot of people have been asking for a sweet jar service. Since this is an item which requires 3 days a week maintenance and often for over my traditional week, I’ve decided to do a trial run and see if this is really as much of an interest as people seem to think. πŸ˜‰ Free email consultation required.

Spell consultation via telephone or spell-counseling via telephone (NOT a reading and NOT spell coaching – if you want a psychic reading you NEED TO PURCHASE IT, and if you ATTEMPT to use this as a psychic reading you will be hung up on and given no refund) – $10 per 15 mins, limited to USA and Canada
I will need to call you during business hours. I will need you to supply a number, this will need to be scheduled, and paying for a consultation does not guarantee I will let you hire me for work….that said, some people INSIST on speaking on the phone to discuss active spellwork or spellwork they wish to purchase. If you really can’t bear to type it out, I’m willing to call for a fee. I personally think a free email consultation and free email replies regarding active spellwork sounds like a better option but it’s up to you. πŸ˜‰

I might come up with a few other ideas but for the time being that’s what I have. πŸ˜‰

Please CONTACT ME if you are interested in any of the above or have any questions!

I’m trying to finish up 2-3 days of emails today, so thanks to everyone for being patient. Thinking I’ll have another educational article up (ie about spells and or technique) by Wednesday at the latest. πŸ™‚

  • No incidents since five minutes ago.

Thanks for reading, I promise to speak about spells and the occult once I master this behemoth which is my inbox. πŸ˜‰

Oh, and since several asked, part of that expensive dental surgery was removing a blob of excess gum by my jaw joint that appeared after I had my wisdom teeth out over five years ago. Apparently this is relatively common, and it didn’t pain me or obstruct my bite in any way, but it was believed to be apt to cause some decay problems (I sort of thought it might be a between meals and flossings food saver, so that might be true,) so they gave me a sexy 20 year old gum line in my jaw joint. That ought to stop future questions, and feel free to gag. πŸ˜‰

  • Hi Occulties,

    ***RANT WARNING***

As many of you may have guessed, I often get some weird requests for help in my email…for example, a popular one goes a bit like this:

“I want to reconcile my ex I broke up with 5 months ago, and make them marry me!” (note: often the relationship being spoken of was not yet close to a proposal of marriage before or near-to the break up.)

Hmm…. You might want to be dating them again before you even consider marriage. Or perhaps being on speaking terms if you can’t manage DATING would be another suggestion. Getting that person to drop the restraining order they likely have against you would also be something I recommend. πŸ˜‰

All humor aside, the problem the wouldbe petitioner is having is that they need to reach markers before they even get to marriage. Getting contact from the ex would be important. Reconciling to this person is as well. Then establishing trust again. Then having a functional happy relationship for a sensible period of time that seems leading towards marriage, etc. So the place to start would probably be to reconcile them. It’s a smaller step than putting a marriage spell on a person who shudders every time they run into you because they have that much animosity towards you, and a more likely goal to achieve…though if they really shudder when they see you, that is a rough place to start from even with just reconciliation being the goal.

I guess what I’m trying to say is I think spellcraft can bring you some amazing things, but if you’re always aiming for something which is likely well outside of your sphere of availability, you will more oft than not fall flat.

    Here is another I get:

“I want millions and millions of dollars and to win the lottery! Or like…I’ll become a famous actor! Then I’d earn the cash!”

OK…let’s start with the lotto bit. The easiest way to explain this to people is that spellcraft isn’t going to work like that. Basically you’re asking for a better chance to win the lottery. So…let’s say your odds are one in 8 million with no spell. Now they are 1 in 2 million. Still better odds, yes, but probably not what you’re looking for. I’ve heard more hilarious eff up stories (from practiced magicians) than I have ever heard success stories with lottery spells (and the amounts for “success” were only in 5 figure amounts, and the number there is I believe 2 success stories, one of dubious value.) I am not counting the “won $50 (or less) on a scratchy ticket as my full manifestation” as success stories, though I know several of those. πŸ˜‰

I could be mistaken here (don’t think so, though,) but lottery spells are a form of gambling spell. Gambling spells increase odds, they do not guarantee success. So, if you’re playing poker (and let’s assume you’re good at this game and have a talent with the cards,) and you use a gambling spell or charm, you will do far better than anything like a lottery spell – because the odds of winning at poker are incredibly better than winning at Powerball Lottery. That doesn’t mean you are not going to lose a hand or two at poker, just that your winning streak will (again assuming you have some skill, a good poker face, and you did the work right) be really great. Notice the points I’m repeating: has to know how to play, can’t be a complete fucktard and let everyone know s/he is holding a royal flush, etc. It will still require some skill on the part of the petitioner.

Not all games of chance require skill, but keep in mind the odds, and that gambling spellcraft, while it increases the odds of winning, it doesn’t guarantee you win. And if it takes skill as well as luck to win, you will have to have some skill to win.

Which is starting to bring me to my next point….getting some sort of high paying job will require you know how to do that job or have some talent at it. While the above person who supposedly asked to win millions or get an acting job might be an amazing actor, do they know any agents? are they located in a place where there are a lot of people hiring actors? How will they be noticed? And if they have no talent at acting, then why would someone hire them? Are they attractive? If not are they willing to lose 50 lbs, and get that crooked nose fixed? and then if they can’t act still, would they be taking acting classes? I’m describing a person who is grossly unqualified for the postion they are asking me to get. I have seen worse, including a person without even a high school degree wanting to be a surgeon. You can’t get a job you don’t have the trainings and qualifications to have. You can use spellwork to help bring smaller goals into fruition that might help to bring the better goal (for example no high school degree lady might use crown of success while taking the GED, and then use work to help get grants or money to go to college to work towards a medical degree, etc,) but if you have no training, no qualifications, and no realistic way of getting this dream job you want, chances are you won’t get it just because you lit a candle once.

“I want a spell that gives me (a bigger penis/a different shade of hair/grow taller/shrink smaller/turn me into a bear, etc)

You know, I’d like Ryan Gosling to come over here and clean my house without him wearing a scrap of clothing, but that’s not going to happen. (Well, it’s up to you Mr Gosling, the invitation is open, of course, heh.) Still I’d have an easier time of getting what I just asked for (though I’m pretty sure he’s outside my sphere of availability) than you do of changing your own physical body, especially if you’ve stopped growing (suchas with grow taller.) I get that there are people out there preying on the gullible…let me see if I can be more realistic for you. If you want a bigger penis, I have no idea what to tell you to do. I am pretty sure excluding a few unfortunates the real issue is your self esteem and not your wang. There are things you can do to boost your attractiveness level to others and those which might help your self esteem but your dong is likely to remain the same size regardless of those measures. As for those of you wanting a different shade of hair, I strongly recommend visiting a hair stylist or applying some do-it-yourself color from the store. Those who want to be taller or shrink….hmmm…one could wear lifts or high heels, and the other can wait for osteoporosis or spinal settling to occur. Lastly the person who wants to be a bear…hmmm… Go way far out in the woods where bears have been known to be seen roaming, slather yourself with honey, peanut butter and garbage. Wait for a bear to come and eat you. When the bear eats you, your cells will help make it’s cells, effectively making you a bear…or part of a bear..the parts the bear doesn’t just poop out make the bear, so I’m not technically wrong.

I don’t think anything is impossible, it’s rather that I think some things are so improbable they may as well be impossible.

Many of you would be doing so much better in your personal spellwork if you aim for a more realistic goal. If you want something really really really big, try getting there in say….5 steps instead of the one. πŸ˜‰

    ***END RANT WARNING***

  • Hey readers,

As some of you may have guessed I’m trying to brighten up the old NinjaCat residence over here. πŸ˜› This may lead to a bit of an even worse disorganization problem, so please be patient with me for the next week or so. It’s not major construction, it really is just a few coats of paint here or there, but sometimes moving all things under a drop cloth does mean really annoying shit happens like “Crap where did my appointment book go!?” or “Um, this means I’m unhooking the internet for like an hour!” (maniacal screaming follows.) The annoyance in all cases is temporary and should be no longer than a day if something gets “lost” as it’s piled in the middle of a room, and no longer than a few hours in the case of having to unplug something here or there.

And the awesome outcome is that this old-lady-decor wallpaper that’s been up in my house since I got it, as well is this craptastic boring white paint in some rooms is GONE. FOREVER. Finally I can look like I don’t have my grandma’s taste in decor or like “used to be flat white until you moved in here, you chain-smoking vodka-loving ginger!” colored halls and walls…which is sort of an off white…I like to think of it is lightly tar-stained cream-color…or I did, before I started painting it all over with fantastic brilliant colors, mwahahahahahahahaha! I am so excited…doing a peacock theme in my living room. It’s going to look fab! πŸ˜€

  • I’ve probably done it wrong but I’m trying to get a twitter account set up. Sooo…this is me: http://twitter.com/CatAstrophied and if you’re looking for the name on the account it’s Cat Astrophied. Yeah I never use my real name, and no stealing that one, it is my rockstar name and has been since before some of you were born, and no I don’t actually have the ability to sing well, I just chose a rockstar name years ago in case someone finds the sound of a duck and cat fighting to the death in a clothes dryer (sounds like me singing!) and wants to make that into popular music. πŸ˜‰ Let’s see how exciting my tweets are…they can’t be any worse than my singing voice.

(I will be shocked if I have 10 followers, lol.)
