Cat’s Rants: Confessions of an Occult Mastermind

  • Hey Occulties,

Back to our favorite topic. πŸ™‚ It's been a long few weeks for me over here – I got a new stalker who was mad that I said if she didn't want to follow the terms of service, I wasn't going to accept her business, but the best of luck…she's now threatening me regularly, calling me a "fake" (mind you, never did business with her, just gave a her a consultation, and she was too lazy to read the contract she agreed to on the intake form, then decided she didn't want to work with me if she couldn't have her way.) So, that's been fun. I don't think I've had a complete psychonut in awhile…like 2 months? Interesting that they all have love problems – I mean if you verbally attack someone for almost 2 straight weeks because you didn't like being told you had to follow the TOS or else they couldn't accept your business, and they patiently explained why that is a rule of their business,….if you act like that to a complete stranger, do you really expect your love life with someone you supposedly love to go smoothly? Most of us wouldn't. πŸ˜‰

But that's OK. πŸ™‚ Business is good. I'm almost out of multiple week packages over 3 weeks for the rest of the year. This means I must be doing something right. πŸ˜‰ Because I am having a HIGH VOLUME of email, if you haven't had a reply for something for THREE BUSINESS DAYS (Monday-Friday, excluding Holidays,) PLEASE RE-EMAIL ME. I am not perfect, and sometimes I have several cases manifesting at once, and so something of non-emergency status gets buried no matter how I try. It doesn't make it not important, but if I need to help with this reply text to their target, and this other person is OMIGOD TOTALLY RAN INTO SO AND SO AT THIS PARTY AND SO AND SO IS ALL OVER THEM! WHAT DO THEY DO!!!!!??? then even I sometimes get distracted, and when I scroll my messages later I get to most everyone (if not everyone), but if I've been quiet longer than 3 business days, definitely tell me you're waiting. πŸ™‚ I reply on three different devices, so my system is not practically flawless as it once was when I only really used one. :/ However, it gives me like 100% mobility so I am actually faster in reply than I was 5 years ago in my humble opinion! :)

But enough about me, let's talk about spells. :)

We had been talking about long term reconciliation awhile back, and because everyone is just DYING if they do not hear from So-and-so RIGHT NOW RIGHT NOW RIGHT NOW, (or so I'm told,) I had thought about offering something with communication, but that can be tricky…

See, the problem with your general communication spell is that it is going to create communication, and not necessarily what you WANT TO HEAR (or read, if you text more.) So, let's say you just use communication on an ex – nothing more, nothing less. He or she might contact you to settle a bill, ask where their possession is (assuming you might have it,) ask for a mutual friend's number….or if you're truly lucky (and I've seen people use communication by itself and have this happen,) they might say why they don't like you, think you're mean, or want you to move on. :/ That's very hurtful if you have been hoping for them to open up and say "OH I NEED YOU!"

However, I've said it to readers and clients alike – one of the hardest things for many reconciliation targets is to get them to reach out. They think you might reject them! People are trained from an early age to not wear their hearts on their sleeve, and this means they can freeze up and think that you would no longer want them if they did ask to come back. Ugh.

Well, I have a little trick that you could use to get LOVING communication. Technically I'd normally make a dolly to do this. Photos don't hold up. That said, I know how big all of you are on sewing dollies and stuff, which is to say you're like "Sew some shit just to get someone to text me? Fuck that, Cat, you know I didn't even put pants on today, so like I'm gonna sew something!" Well, thank internet we all have choices, now, right? Right. There are a few choices out there where you can get an image on fabric and it should be washing machine safe, even if in cold water. I don't care if it's a square shape, just that your target is in this image..and I have seen pillows and stuff with an image on it. I want this to just be able to ABSORB FLUID and yet withstand MORE THAN ONE SOAKING. So check out sites that make t-shirts (even just one,) like probably Zazzle.com or VistaPrint.com – just entering "make throw pillow with photo" on Google brought up a ridiculous amount of hits for me, so I'm sure you can find a company that suits your needs. Get an image of your target. Get this on a pillow. That's all I ask.

If you want to be fancy and make a doll and even put personal stuff inside, that's great. I would do that personally, but I'm writing for a larger audience here, and so if you can do that, you know how, do it. If you don't know how, just go get the pillow. πŸ™‚

Now gentlemen will use HIGH JOHN THE CONQUEROR ROOT CHIPS (just get a few roots and use toenail clippers on whole roots to make chips if you can't get chips,) and ladies will use CATNIP – and even if you are a gay lady or a gay gent, you use the high john if you have boy bits, and the catnip if you have girl bits and the spell is for you, OK? Now we will need your first morning's urine! So when you get up and you have to pee, you catch this urine in a container. Ladies, if you are still menstruating, it's even better if you use your first morning urine with some menstrual blood, but if you have stopped menstruating – for medical reasons or those of age, – just use your first morning's pee. Gents, just use that first morning pee. πŸ˜‰ Now pour this urine into a small cook pot with about 1/4 to 1/2 cup of catnip or high john root (whichever is appropriate,) and about 3 cups water.

If you have roommates, you might want to hold on to this pee stuff until no one is home, heh. Because we're about to get weird. πŸ˜€ Put this on the stove, and bring it to a rolling boil. It might smell a bit. I won't lie. When it has reached a rolling boil, reduce the heat a bit to have it simmer – do not cover it, and holding your hand over this mixture (not so as to burn yourself, place at a safe distance,) say "(Name of target, drawn to me, think of me endlessly, come to me now,  overcome with love and desire, come to  me, speak to me immediately, now, now," and as you say this, imagine this person coming to you with a look of love and desire upon their face. When you have said this, remove your hand (It should be your right in most cases, but that which you write with,) and then wait about three minutes, and repeat this process, six more times, for a total of seven times. This should take approximately 21 minutes, and if you find your mixture is losing too much fluid (it very well might,) feel free to add a bit more water. The idea is when you are done boiling it, that you will have probably around a cup of fluid. I don't know how much you pee in the morning. Some people pee a lot. Some people don't pee a lot.

Anyhow, let this cool down, and strain it off (it's okay if a few herb bits remain in it,) and pour it into a spray bottle. Purchase a sweet "tasting" cigar from the store (swisher sweets or certain flavors of Black and Mild cigars work well,) and then place the pillow/dolly so it is facing you. Light the cigar (sorry if you can't bear tobacco smoke,) and make sure it is burning well. Stare at the pillow, thinking strongly on your target. I find I often feel like I "connect to the person," – like I am no longer staring at an image but looking them right in the face, and then when you get to a point where you feel that you have connected to their higher self, spray some of your pee mixture right on their face, and puff the cigar smoke (you don't need to inhale,) and blow it out on their face as you say, "Come to me (name of target), you are drawn to me, you think only of seeing me, smelling me, tasting me, touching me, and speaking to me. Come to me this very moment, think of me this very instant, speak to me full of love and desire for only me, this very moment, immediately now now!" Now you might have to take a few puffs to say that all with smoke coming out of your mouth, but make sure you're blowing smoke on them as you say it. Repeat this (spray the image, repeat the chant,) 2 more times for a total of three times, and upon completing the third repetition, say "As is my will, so be it!" Place your pee mixture and doll/pillow in a safe, unseen place. Repeat daily until contact is made.

You may have to re-make the pee mix. It goes rancid quickly. :/ If you're full of pee and not ashamed to boil it with herbs (hey, if you live alone, it's no biggie,) and you live close to your target, you can actually pour this, when done with your chanting that day, in a trail from where your lover/ex is staying (start there,) to your home (assuming they aren't far.) If you live nowhere near them, but you want to remake the pee mixture, pour it out on the front steps of your home. If you live in an apartment use the entry door way, preferably doing this when everyone is not milling about watching you pour pee out. πŸ˜‰ DO NOT pour this out in this fashion when it goes rancid (it can take only a day or so at times, and it smells BAD.) Instead, pour that down the toilet. You may need to hold your nose (it gets a very strong icky pee smell.)

I've had some report fast results using this. Obviously, if someone is not making a move within 21 days, you will have a very icky pee item. I would try something else. We are looking for contact in UNDER THREE WEEKS. I'd say about 70% or so of people who used this daily tended to report a reaction in 7-10 days on average. If someone did not react in 21 days, they generally never reacted. :/

This spell is designed to get someone very interested in seeing you, being with you, and speaking to you! πŸ™‚ It's not going to fix "chased someone down the street with an axe" level of damage in most cases, but it will work well on new (never before dated,) love interests, current "dwindling interest" love cases, and break up cases where the person is still kind and showing some interest (not totally estranged in many cases.)

Your mileage may vary, so feel free to contact me and let me know your results.

As always this spell is copyright me, and I pay people to catch you for stealing my work, so don't rip me off, because I'm also litigious as all hell. >:)

    ~Cat

PS- for a little added oomph, boil the pee mixture with about 1-2 teaspoons of poppy seed alongside your catnip or high john root, to make the target more suggestible. :)

  •  Hey, Occulties,

While not an occult post, it's something I've been meaning to write because I get a lot of people who think my little bird is adorable and want one too. πŸ˜‰ There is an occult post coming up, so skip this one if you don't give a shit about pet birds.

OK, so many of you have said how adorable (or annoying, depending on who I'm speaking to,) my birdie sounds when he's getting himself into some trouble, or speaking like saying "Watcha doin?" when we're on the phone.

And while he's my little buddy and I wouldn't trade him for all the world, I was prepared when I purchased him from a breeder for the fact that pet birds – truly happy, healthy companion parrots, – are not an easy pet to care for. So before you drive out to the pet store and purchase that bird, keep the following in mind:

Pet store birds, like the vast majority of pet store animals, make lousy pets. The reason is that they are often not properly handled. While, with some training, this might not be a concern with birds, the best birds have been raised by someone who handles them. Hand-fed parrots means the breeder fed the bird instead of letting his or her mom (and often dad,) feed the chick. Parrots regurgitate their food into their babies' mouths when they are young, and when the youngster starts eating on their own, the parents will eventually stop this behavior. If a breeder is "hand feeding" the chick, he or she will reduce the hand feeding and wean the chick like the parents would. HOWEVER, if the breeder allows the parents to feed the chick, as long as the chick is handled very early on by humans, he or she will be far more receptive to being handled by humans when they reach maturity. Most young birds are not actually adults when they are ready to go to new homes (think of this like a puppy or a kitten, even though the young bird is often about fully-grown,) so if you get a very young bird at a pet store, handling this animal (once he or she has been home with you for at least 36 or so hours – wait that long so the bird can calm down,) will probably make him or her amenable to handling by humans. That said, you do not necessarily know the age of your bird if you buy him or her in a pet store. A bird which has never been handled and who is over a certain age may be absolutely terrified of humans, and as parrots are a prey-species, if something frightens them, they can remain afraid of this for a very very long time. This is a survival instinct. Predators (kitties, doggies,) tend to be more bold, but prey species have the innate response to flee and avoid anything scary because in the wild, it can save their lives.

This means you are better off buying an animal from a BREEDER not a pet store. You should also ask the breeder questions about how he or she raises his or her birds. Are they handled? Are they hand fed? A healthy, well-raised bird is worth 10 beautiful but ignored birdies from the pet store. If you're a bird pro (some people are,) you can get a bird about anywhere and make him or her far more friendly than someone who has never raised a bird, but ask a bird-rescue organization….beginners are not recommended to handle a big bird, or an unsocialized bird. Start with a bird from a responsible breeder.

You will get bitten. EVERY bird I've ever owned has bitten me at least once, though in the case of budgies (parakeets,) it was probably only once or twice. The problem is if you yell at them, they can take this as a sign that you like this. To them a loud exclaimation sounds like praise because birds are loud (we will get into that,) so if you're bitten, it's best to adopt a low sounding "no." We say "bad bird, no," and this guy knows what that means. My current bird is not very bitey (he's bitten me about 3-4 times at most during 2018, usually because i was forced by medical concern or because he was stuck to put him outside of his comfort zone,) but some birds are. With a budgie or a cockatiel or even a lovebird, you probably won't have them draw blood (he's only ever gotten me just right one time to draw blood,) but a large parrot will definitely draw blood. My avian vet has a few battlewounds. Now, you will get "beaked" probably daily, and beaking is when the bird uses his or her beak to test a surface, like you might feel with your hand. Before my bird climbs on something (even a hand or arm,) he tests it with his beak to make sure the surface is stable. Beaking does not hurt but can be scary to people who do not understand birds. Since birds have 2 feet and no arms/paws, their beak is used much as hands or forepaws are. If you're afraid of a bird putting his or her beak on you EVER (but could stand getting bitten maybe 2 times,) then do not get a bird. They need to use their beaks as part of their mobility, so beaking is a very normal behavior. Again, it does not hurt at all, but the bird's mouth is definitely on you. πŸ˜‰

You cannot leave them in a cage. A cage is more like a crate. Parakeets will tolerate far more cage time out of all of the rest of the parrot family. It is CRUEL to cage a parrot 24-7. I might make an exception for someone with an aviary where there is a lot of room and a lot of other birdies, but generally speaking, unless you are raising finches and canaries (who prefer to remain in a cage, and are more like fish in how you raise them,) you need to have a large cage and to be willing to have your birdie out (and start with no more than 2 small parrots if you want a parrot, so a lovebird or a cockatiel or a budgie, if you've never raised a bird,) at least an hour a day. I will honestly say when you first get the bird, he or she will retreat to the safety of his cage, so it may not be immediate that he or she wants to be out for this long, but as this animal becomes comfortable with you, "out time" must increase to at least an hour a day. Some birds love their cage – it has toys and fun stuff, – then you have birds like my bird who hates being caged. He literally lives out of the cage all of the time. That comes with it's own set of issues…

Like the fact that parrots, in general, are hugely destructive, some more so than others. My little dude chews on EVERYTHING. He's bored a hole in our couch. He chews on my clothing in the hamper. He's eaten the wood trim on the doorways. He eats all things paper. He cracked a freaking laptop screen. When he's mad, he will actually work on that hole in the couch because he knows it makes us mad. Now there are definitely toys for your destructive friend on the market, and you are expected to buy new ones when the bird has chewed through the whole thing and destroyed it. This curbs them destroying other things…sometimes. My guy is the great destroyer, so toys and not toys…he eats them all.

Furthermore birds poop A LOT. You must become somewhat immune to bird poo. I don't mean you leave it there. I mean I clean up birdie poo several times a day. Even if you leave them in their cages for 23 hours a day, birdie poo gets on your floor. It's not the only way they make a mess, because…

Even if you feed them with pellets, they need some seed. Seed shells get everywhere. It looks like a bird seed factory exploded in my house if I don't sweep up a lot more than I would need to if I was just here with Mr NinjaCat and no pets.

And if they are molting, feathers are everywhere. Even if you cage them, the little feathers often fly out of the cage.

Because they are naturally curious animals, they also tend to endanger themselves stupidly. We had to tie up a lamp cord just so because my bird would try to chew it. Something about it's appearance was irresistible to him.

They are also noisy animals. Parakeets are not so bad, probably for size, but if you've ever been on the phone with me, "the screaming that sounds like an alarm clock," that my cockatiel makes is a common noise. If I am napping and he wants to play, he makes that noise. If Mr NinjaCat and I are in opposite rooms and he wants to hang out with both of us, he makes that noise. He makes that awful sound so regularly that I have neighbors who probably want to wring his neck. :/

They are needy….sometimes they are playful, sometimes cuddly, but his can change in a second. You need to know them well. Mine gets grouchy and pushy when he's tired. He will decide it is time to cuddle when I am doing work or when I'm washing dishes and will keep coming over making his "kissy face" (when he wants cuddles,) then can get more aggressive if I don't give him cuddles. I have seen videos of birds having full meltdowns and screaming and throwing things if their human did not give into their desire, but of course I've seen them scream and throw things just because they don't like a toy someone got them, or similar.

They tend to attach to one person. My bird favors me. If I am gone for any length of time, he begins starving himself. If myself and Mr NinjaCat are….having some lovey interaction, he will fly over and glare at Mr NinjaCat, or even start singing in an attempt to get my attention on to him instead as the better mate. This has it's cute moments, like how if I fall asleep, he sometimes sleeps on my pillow or my chest, or it can be downright terrible…like when I was in the hospital for 2 days and he tried to kill himself because I wasn't home and couldn't see him. He also attacks me if he thinks I'm leaving sometimes. Yes, seriously.

Boy birds are the talkers and singers in many breeds of parrot, but some may never do either. Just because you have a male bird, it does not mean he will ever mimic talk or sing, and sometimes if you have a female bird, she will, even if it is uncommon with her breed for her to do so. They will mimic what they find interesting. This is not always what you find interesting.

Lastly, the avian vet is expensive. For the doctor to see my birdie, it is $75. I live in a small to medium sized city, and he's the ONLY avian vet in the area. He needs to see the doctor at least once a year, and since he eats weird things and gets himself into trouble because that's his thing, it isn't like it would be out of the ordinary for him to have to see his vet more often than that. Birds, much like cats, often do not show signs of illness, so if they start acting even a little sick, it's almost always time to call the vet NOW. A person who waits too long is generally the person who finds a dead bird on the bottom of the cage or on the floor in a short time.

I'm sure this novel has opened a few eyes. This isn't to discourage you from bird ownership – I love birds, and they live a very long time and are very loyal and affectionate pets who will make you laugh pretty much every day if you care for them right. If you are willing to do your homework and get a well bred bird, and spend at least an hour with him or her out of the cage on a daily basis, you will probably love having a bird as a pet. They are great little companions. However, they are, in my opinion, not a "beginner" pet. A budgie is usually the easiest to raise and I think people tend to do well with them, however anything even a little larger is going to require you to dedicate time to his or her well being that may be more time than you have. If you can make enough time for a dog, then a bird might be right for you. BUT, as a caveat, many birds end up in rescue situations because people did not know what they were getting into. I read some terrifying statistic that something like 85% of all large parrots have been rehomed an average of five times. That is so horrible. Birds, like dogs, form bonds with their humans, and that is beyond question absolutely cruel to the animal to not be able to trust that it is not just being given away and not loved. Please do not buy birds for very small children, and please kindly take the time to consider whether or not you have the time train a bird and love and live with a bird.

Because just because my birdie sounds like he's so cute and snuggly and fun sometimes…well, is all of those things, but he also screams and destroys and tries to commit suicide if I leave the house. ;)

He's my homeslice, though. He's a smart and hilarious little jerk. πŸ™‚

Thank you for reading my becoming-a-bird-owner PSA.

  • Hey Occulties,

Originally the article I was posting on Sunday (that is still in editing, ha,) was going to be about tranquility, but a reader just asked me this (edited to take out any personal details and to clarify the situation,) and I actually thought it was damn suitable for Saturday (which is fantastic for cursing and dark domination, mwhahaha.)

Q: When my ex roommate moved out a few years ago (we moved out at the same time,) 2 of our boxes got mixed up because they looked similar and it was basically clothes. While most of it is nothing I care about, I had left a small jewelry box tucked inside, and a ring that has a lot of sentimental value was in there (as well as some fashion jewelry and cheap stuff.) I must have tossed it in there because I was cleaning and didn't want it damaged. It is from the 1930's and is an heirloom. At first I didn't think much of it – we share friends, we don't live far apart, and it wasn't her way to steal anything. After a few months, I just figured she was really bad with exchanging things, so I set up a meeting and we switched the boxes back. When I got home, I couldn't find the jewelry box, and the clothes looked folded different. I called her and she said she totally forgot, she took that out because something had spilled on the box of clothes and she had to wash them. She dropped off a zip loc bag of jewelry a few days later, saying the box (and it was a very cheap jewelry box, – fabric over cardboard,) had molded and presented the box. It was as she said. I didn't see my ring in the bag and she said it might be on her dresser as she had wiped off a few things and laid them out there before bagging them. After a week or so I called her, and she kept putting off seeing me any time I did. It was really damaging our friendship, so I told her that I did not mean to make her feel accused, but the ring was a family heirloom, that it had great sentimental value to me, and to just even put it in her purse and leave it there so if she was by my house she could drop it off. Soon after she stopped showing up at events I went to, and wasn't taking my calls, telling people that I'm crazy, saying she doesn't even have this ring, and that she'd even looked and I probably was just looking for attention. Well, last week my other friend saw her wearing my ring! I'm so mad! My friend even managed to make it so the ring was in a picture without arousing suspicion.

After all she put me through, and for something that she STOLE, I want her to DIE if she doesn't give the ring back! What can I do? Will she get really sick and die if she doesn't give it back to me?

A: Well, I would not be the first person to notice that people are very stupid sometimes and will do stupid things like wearing a stolen ring around a mutual friend, but given the information, it seems strange that she would decide to end a long friendship over a piece of jewelry, and one that you told her clearly was important to you. The clincher there is that another friend recognized it, which leads me to believe if a friend recognized the item as yours, it probably was something a few people had noticed belonged to you…because the only person's jewelry I can remember that isn't my own is probably the rings my mother wears, and a necklace my sister wore for 5-6 years. πŸ˜‰ So, if it's something so memorable, I guess I will not say it is highly possible she thinks it is hers and has always been hers, and that she'd given you the ring you were complaining about back…but it is possible that is what is going on.

You could be very not-magical and point the ring out in this image, but your friend who snapped the picture might be upset because she will be pulled into the fray. Direct confrontation might solve the issue without trying to kill someone. πŸ˜‰ Furthermore the image backs up your claim, so even without spells, you have her saying you're "Crazy" when she's the broad wearing jewelry pilfered from a now ex-friend.

But since when do people reading my blog want the not magical way? I guess, I do not suggest "Give it back or die." She won't know why she is dying. We don't live in a society where people instantly assume magic could be the cause of a sudden illness. She would just probably get pneumonia or meningitis or something, and then be dead, and then you won't even get your ring back. :P

You could curse her so that everyone around you knows she stole the item – that this comes out that she is the thief. BUT, she might just throw the thing out then, so there is no proof of her having it in her possession. While your friends may never trust her again, people in her life who are closer to her and only very lightly acquainted with you (or don't know you) will eventually return and be friendly with her again and forget the incident (or  most likely.) So you would have the satisfaction of a permanent loss of friends from your clique, but this isn't like she would wake up with a mark that let everyone know she stole your ring and be marked as so for life. πŸ˜‰

The best thing to do is to use a form of intranquility, so that she feels horrible remorse and guilt for possessing your ring and for losing your friendship. Instead of dying, she would be admitting guilt (and again, maybe she did think it was hers and not the ring you lost, only via spellwork, to realize it is your ring,) to you, and giving your ring back to you. She is also apt to express remorse and a feeling of guilt to shared friends so people will know you had never been "crazy" when you said she stole your ring.

I know it's not as blood thirsty, but it is the most likely way to get your ring back, and hearing that she is sorry about what she put you through will probably cool a great deal of that anger you're feeling (without leaving a body count.)

    Hope that is educational. :)

  • Hey there Occulties,

So referring back to my article regarding long-term reconciliation… a few people became very disheartened and were like OMIGOD CAT I WILL NEVER GET SO AND SO BACK AND I CANNOT WAIT MONTHS FOR THEM!!! TELL ME IF MY LIFE IS REALLY THIS BAD!?

    *sigh

Look, I'm a big believer in spellwork. I've seen it do impressive things. I'm not trying to say that even the vast majority of people who are going to attempt reconciliation work are going to need to do that much work. ;)

In saying as much, when I was a younger lady, and more prone to crazy behaviors, I did create for myself some situations where I was working on a target for a length of time longer than a month. I also created situations where I made such a mess that I didn't even bother working on it at all. πŸ˜‰ No, I said "TO HELL WITH THAT," and moved on to the next best thing. πŸ˜‰ If you have found yourself in a really big mess where you suspect you might actually work on a target for more than a month, but you neither wish to invest the time or effort to do a plan such as I had suggested (which is fine, that's a lot of work,) this doesn't mean the odds are insurmountable. It doesn't mean give up your day job and become a spellcasting machine for the next few months.

In fact, the situation is likely not as dire as you might imagine. It might surprise many of you, but the vast majority of requests that I do get regarding reconciliation are not "chased someone down the street with an axe" level of bad, or even close. It might surprise even more of you to know that I've had situations that were not so bad that they involve long term work, but I'd still recommend the petitioner give their target a few weeks of space to let everyone cool down.

We had a huge bunch of retrograde madness going on for awhile, and let me be frank, it caused a lot of HUGE messes, as well as little ones. The chances are MOST people are only dealing with a "little" mess, and not looking at some super long term work, or weeks and weeks of work.

But whatever your situation (and I do offer consultation on doing work for yourself, which, while it isn't free, is going to give you the right plan if you feel like you need help making one,) remember this..

Magic is about making what you want happen. It means that life told you "This is how it is," and you said "Well fuck that, no." Instead of feeling like this helpless victim drowning in a big sea of stuff you think you MIGHT have to do, look at it a bit more like having to take steps to get to where you want to be. It's more like a staircase, and you sitting at the bottom crying about those stairs (and I mean a basic staircase, not seven flights up, in most cases,) means more waiting until you're done crying about the stairs…because until you take the steps to get to where you want to go, bitching about not being there isn't getting you any closer.

It's up to you if you want to take control of your life and take steps to get to where you want to be. For some people that won't be a huge investment of time and effort. I've seen things turn around so quickly, even I was impressed. A huge plan for people who basically blew up a relationship and alienated someone so far that it's going to take time is not going to be a plan many people need. Some people do, but not all people do. Don't assume the worst!

Instead, take some initiative. No matter how bad it is right now, try some healing, try some reconciliation, see if that changes the situation to your liking in a few weeks. I write this blog with the hope people will take some power back and make their lives better for themselves using the spells herein.

Don't think I've never messed up something really badly, and then wondered if I could fix it in my own personal life. I worked really hard in some cases to bring things back together, and sometimes it took a lot of work…other times, it was not so difficult to fix, but it taught me to refine my craft and to do better with each new spell I cast. Being an occult mastermind is not an overnight thing. It takes a lot of practice, trial and error, and apparently also being a jackass in one's adolescence (which I really was,) so as to have problems to overcome. ;)

I believe in you, readers….and I do not suspect that even more than 7% (which is a generous number) would need the mega plan outlined in the previous article. Most of you are going to be just fine, and I'm sure you will fix things as needed, so do not fret that it is the end of the world.

    Much love,

    ~C

PS- It never hurts to take a look at this article, to help prevent you from f***ing up that reconciliation. πŸ˜‰

  • Hello Occulties,

So I had to think awhile on what to write for this week's Sunday article. For starters, the beginning of my week was in internet blackout, so a lot of what I dealt with was "Did you reply to my damn email yet? It's been four hours since I wrote it," while trying to deal with a massive cable services failure leaving me with 1gb data to work with on my tablet to try to make sure everyone was OK and hearing back from me. That's really not helpful when trying to gauge what is going on questions/problems-wise that IS NOT to do with "where the hell is Cat, and why are your replies only 2 sentences long, Cat, gd-it!" ;)

However, that problem is solved, and since I've taken care of a lot of the tardy replies, let's get to the article…

This week I'd like to discuss a subject which is probably not going to make a few people happy, and that is LONG TERM RECONCILIATIONS. People have asked me more than once if there is such a thing as a case that is gonna take a long time to fix, and how much work they would have to do to fix it, and there are cases where I'd say it's a lot of work, and most people are going to say "Oh, no fucking way." This is NOT the case in many reconciliations, but let's just be fair here, some people have a very very very low chance of bringing someone back due to some horribly bad things which happened during and after the break up (and sometimes leading up to it,) and they all want to know if it can be fixed. πŸ˜› We all wish it was just this one spell here, and bang, everything flies together, but NOOOOOOO, sometimes it isn't that easy. As I've said to more than one person, healing any wound takes time – and since this is visible to us in the mundane world, we accept this when it comes to physical ailments. My stinky cellulitis eye took less than 24 hours to get to be the size of a grapefruit. It took over a month (which I was on antibiotics for a month,) to stop being misshapen (and at least a month to stop being horribly misshapen,) and I still have a few places where you can see small white dots….so technically some of it is still there (though you have to be mouth-breather-creepy to get that close and see it, ha ha.) So if a physical trauma can take that long to resolve, it only bears to reason that an emotional or psychic trauma is going to take a long time to heal as well.

If you've really laid the damage on (or it was just a lot of damage, whether or not by your own fault,) you can't just expect a relationship to knit back together without any single problem. I can even think of one of my own personal relationships where the person was so hurtful to me YEARS PREVIOUS to us reconnecting, that I had times where I was just revolted with myself for having forgiven this person or let them back into my life even all those years later, when I could at least consciously admit that the hurt this person caused was an action taken from them being too young to not be stupid…something they had since evolved well-past. Forgiving them entirely took me months…and that's not with magic helping it. πŸ˜› So,, if you have a more recent rupture with someone (not like a decade-old fight, lol,) the wound is still going to be fresh, and one little candle spell isn't apt to fix everything back up in a flash.

Ask yourself – do I want this person enough to invest this time and effort into returning them to me? It is always easier to start fresh.

Of course many of you reading this will say "Well, yes, Cat, I totally want so and so, and I must have them back, they are the moon and sun to me and I can't be without them, so let's fix this thing," and that's great. Others will say "Oh, fuck and no, I won't be sitting on my ass waiting for so and so to come back for months, or to have them back and to have to KEEP WORKING just to fix this massive gaping emotional wound, so fuck that, I'm out," and that's also fine. πŸ™‚

If you are down for attempting a long term reconciliation, then you need to start by breaking your plan to return this person in steps. Ask yourself why this happened – write down the reasons, – and ask yourself why is this person still angry (if applicable,) and why are they still gone from you (if applicable.) What (if anything) was caused by your actions, and what (if anything) was caused by theirs which created this situation. What sort of outside influences are causing this situation. When things were good between you, what seemed most important in the relationship, how well did it function, etc. Examine every part of this before beginning to make a plan. Understanding the damage clearly is part of fixing it.

You need to heal this person, heal yourself, (focusing on the traumas that caused and were caused by the break,) reconcile them, get them to make contact (if applicable,) get them to trust you again, get them to feel loving (in a romantic way) towards you again, and to keep them interested in staying with you. Where do you start? Generally I would start by calming and healing the target, healing yourself, working reconciliation on themselves and yourself, and getting them to be open to contact with you. Do this work for about 2 weeks, then introduce love/passion drawing work, return to me work (reconciliation with a drawing element,) sweetening work, and keep the communication work going (don't reach out, wait for them to,) for another 2-3 weeks. Wait a week. If the person has not made contact, and there is no reason to assume that you have a restraining order out (sorry, some people do,) now attempt to make contact without bringing up the relationship. Usually asking for an item they might have, or sending them a funny picture, or something similar is going to get a response, but do not press for a response. No response IS a response. If you get a negative response, drop the conversation, do not press it further.

Let's assume you have done this 5+ weeks of work (if we add in the week of silence,) and you get no response or a negative response. What now? You have two options, really…force a response (magically,) or repeat the above. If you want to force a response, work intranquility work instead of healing and calming, and repeat the above process. If this person is going to respond EVER, that will almost definitely get them to reach out.

I know what many of you are thinking "Fuck's sake, Cat, isn't there an easier way?"

Well, my dears, as I said, some traumas are ridiculously severe. This is not your basic "I fucked up a little, and we are sort of still talking" type of needing a reconciliation. This is "I pretty much chased someone down the street with an axe" level of fucked up. If you think I'm joking about restraining orders, you would be surprised how badly people mess up, and contact me seeking some solution, and DO have a restraining order against them. πŸ˜› I generally would turn that type of case away, but if enough people make that type of query, I might as well have some instruction if they want to try to fix that sort of badness on their own. ;)

And let me be fair here, assuming you had to have this happen RIGHT THE FUCK NOW, if the trauma is such that the person is scared of you or pretty much would cross the street if they saw you coming the other way, speeding them back into your arms in a few weeks is probably not going to be too long lasting, IF you can even get them back fast. That being said if you do the above, and they came back in week 2, you still really need to work it all because IT IS A VERY SEVERE TRAUMA.

Think of this like a broken bone. Just because I set the bone and put it in a cast, this doesn't mean that it is suddenly a working limb. πŸ˜‰ It still needs to knit back together. Even in the best case scenarios, where the trauma is not so bad, you are still going to have to do your work in the mundane to mend the relationship. The long term plan above is merely a more supportive plan using more magic for a situation which is SEVERE. It is the difference between a sprained ankle, to a leg broken in four places. πŸ˜‰ One requires more work than the other.

Assuming this person has returned after the first or second round of work, what next?

The likelihood is that they are still very cautious and afraid that everything is going to go back to how it was. You need to work love drawing with Chuparosa oil (to have a good, loving, functional relationship,) protect the relationship against outside influences, work roadopening to keep breaking down the obstacles between you, keep the communication work going, and keep doing healing work on your target. How long? I would recommend doing the work at least 2x a month (the sweetening work, do every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday,) until the person seems healed and happy, and arguments are minimalized. That could mean a month or so of work, it could mean a few months of work.

And if they didn't come back? You can repeat the above first round as long as you'd like, but here I must add in my caveat…

I have seen a number of situations over the years where the damage was SO SEVERE that the best the petitioner could realize was getting their target to be friends with them again. While the target would be flirty or warm, he or she would never really engage in a romantic or lusty endeavor past a bit of light flirting again. There is a chance the damage is too great. It happens.

I don't want to dishearten anyone. I've seen my fair share of situations come back together where I had thought it would be a downright miracle if the two parties ever spoke again, and yet with less work than the above, they did come back together. However, it would be unfair for me to say that everything is so easy. I've had a lot of people ask me about long term work, and if they need to do this for their own situation, and I figured an article discussing what that might involve is helpful. Not everything is a quick or easy fix.

To be fair, I've also seen someone do far less work on an ex, have the ex not return within a month or two, give up, and then be chased everywhere by the ex once they did give up. πŸ˜‰ It isn't always such a huge investment of time or money (because spell materials ain't free, as all of my readers know,) or effort, but I stand by that when it comes to a great deal of emotional damage, it is no different than a severe health problem…it can require more treatment than some people are willing to invest in. It is up to you what you want to do. Don't just assume you are someone who has created a problem that is almost too insurmountable to fix, but if you can reasonably say it's pretty close to that, you might want to consider LONG TERM RECONCILIATION WORK, rather than "casting a spell once." My whole blog is really made to drive home to people what spells can do, and while that can be some pretty remarkable stuff, assuming that it is one flick of the magical wrist, and all things knit back together regardless of the extreme damage in some situations would be unrealistic.

Hope that made some coherent sense…it's been one helluva week. πŸ˜‰ I'll try to post up a spell article in the next few days.

  • Hey Occulties,

This has come up a number of times at my job in the last week or so, which means it definitely is going up in my Sunday article.

People want to know – do some-, all-, or no- love situations require "constant spellwork?"

OK, the basic "rule of thumb," with spells about is or is it not something you might need to maintain regularly (suchas setting a light once a month,) – and this for any kind of spell, really, is does this spell have a specific desired end (for example, "I get the promotion to CEO at my current company,") wherein when the desired outcome is accomplished the situation would be permanent (you don't get fired just because the spell did it's job and now fades away,) OR is it for an indeterminate object (for example, I get paid by the job, and I am already owner and CEO of my company, so my concern is sales, and if I want an increase in sales, asking no specific amount, or even that they multiply enormously, this is not a particular thing, it is an indeterminate thing, or if I say I want to be more attractive to those around me, this is not a determinate item but something I need to maintain,).

Since that was a huge run on sentence (my 9th grade English teacher is growling from either the afterlife or old folk's home,) think of it like this with love…I want so and so back, right? Well that is specific. I want so and so to return – not any ex, not dudes that have crushed on me, not childhood or school friends of no name. That guy. So when he returns, i do not need to keep casting return to me spells. He's returned.

Now, if I just want to attract more admirers – no one specific, – or increase the sexy feelings towards me of those around me, then I will need to keep doing work towards that end on a semi regular basis to keep that influence strong. This doesn't mean an attraction spell will make you go from warthog to supermodel then back to warthog instantly. πŸ˜‰ In fact, if you look like a snapping turtle with a hangover dressed like a hobo on your best day, the spell isn't going to turn you into Chris Hemsworth, regardless. However, it will increase your magnetism around others, and continuing to regularly apply this influence will noticeably attract people to you that desire you. If you only do this work one time, the influence will grow, hit a peak for a few weeks, then fade away. The idea of doing maintenance spellwork is to keep the influence strong so you don't notice it fading.

OK, so those are 2 relatively distinct examples. In many cases, either is probably relatively obvious to most of you. Now what about something a bit more complex? OK, so if your partner has emotional or personality issues, what happens there? Can we just use work – one spell, – to cure, say, someone who has ongoing commitment issues or is narcissistic due to a bad childhood? What about someone who is emotionally reserved, or who has substance abuse issues?

None of that above is an easy fix. It starts to relate to a person's NATURE, meaning their core personality. So, if I TOTALLY HATE my personal space being invaded and get combative when anyone changes anything the way I have it in my home, but I have a partner who wants to be able to make me more flexible, is that one spell or is it ongoing?

If you guessed ongoing, you're correct. My nature tells me to keep my home as it is (it might be a bit OCD,) and most likely, this personality trait developed over a long enough time that it has almost literally become part of me. It is possible the problem requires HEALING. Perhaps a trauma caused me to feel that things must remain the same or else I am insecure. Healing is something that requires some maintenance. Just as a gaping festering wound or  a bone broken in many places takes time to heal and to be well and functioning right again, so do emotional wounds. If it's a chemical problem (some emotional problems are from nature not from the environment,) then it could be a lifetime of maintenance…and mundane medical care also.

When we work deeply on the psyche, abrupt change is not often going to net lasting results if the problem is one that sprouts from an emotional/chemical issue, or from a long ago trauma.

Let's look at addiction issues…arguably, most addiction issues are a form of self-medication. So, while your beloved's drinking or illicit substance abuse might be causing real fights (either from the monetary cost, the fact that they are a shit while on this drug or drink, or any other reason,) the last thing (in my opinion,) that will help in a GOOD and lasting manner, is often working too quickly. Remember, spells take the path of least resistance, so if your beloved is all hopped up on those crazy pills, the fastest "detox" could be a stint in jail with some hefty legal costs. If they are at a certain point, maybe that strikes you as better than the current situation, but if they are not, healing and gently guiding towards sobriety may be far better (and more lasting.) Ask yourself what is the core reason for their substance use? Social awkwardness? Depression? Childhood trauma? Try healing the root cause…it helps a great deal.

And a few "traumas," may, under the right circumstances, require more of a prolonged pressing on the target…sometimes with commitmentphobia, the key is building trust and a sense of safety while also keeping the love-drawing influence strong.

So how do you know what is needed? Always assess the situation. Maybe you need your ex back, and that's a matter of healing from a bad argument, but what led up to it was horrible communication and money issues. Do the reconciliation work, but also work on bettering communication, and improving your finances. If that means you need to work a few extra months after returning your ex to you on the communication (an indistinct end, requires some maintenance,) and finances (depending on your job/business, may require maintenance,) then do it. It's far easier to keep someone happy than it is to get them to come back after things have been horrid.

Not all spells require maintenance, but influences, in general (I can think of one exception, but it's almost midnight at this writing, lol,) fade. They do not just expire like Cinderella's coach turning into a pumpkin at midnight. If you have what you want (exact desire such as a person taking you out on a date, returning to you, etc,) then it is really up to you on the mundane side to maintain that situation when the spell does begin to fade. If you need a lasting influence that is not specific (attract people, make someone more communicative, etc,) or even is just slow moving (and possibly permanent, suchas with healing,) then you probably want to continually do regular work. If you feel the situation has become permanent (again, like with healing,) feel free to stop working the influence.

Now I think we recently (as in a handful of articles ago, ha ha,) had this conversation, but it came up no less than 10 times in the last week, so here it is again. πŸ˜‰ Hope it helped instead of raised more questions.

    Happy Spellcastin'!

  • Hey Occulties,

So happy to share this story (and have permission to,) as it totally made my day. One of my clients just had a fantastic outcome and I want to share, as it is impressive!

The background: My client had been dating a fellow for about a year and around the year mark, he started acting strange. At first she felt that maybe it was work/stress related or that maybe he was worrying that she would pressure him for marriage, etc. After a few weeks of him being distant and crabby, she confronted him. He just made a few lame excuses, but she persisted and finally he told her that his ex (also his babymomma) was telling him that he had to come back or else she would keep their child from him, and that she would use very old charges (ten years previous he had a drug charge and a theft charge, but nothing since,) to tell the cops he was using drugs again, and a danger to his child so he would never see them again. My client told him to fight it but he refused, and after a week or so of arguments about this, he broke up with my client. She apologized, she begged, she acted crazy and he blocked her on social media and his phone within about 2-3 weeks. Soon after (days after,) a mutual friend told my client that she saw the two of them together on social media (him and his ex,) and so this client contacted me for a reading and work.

The work: after doing a reading, I suggested work to make him and his ex lose interest and feel cold towards each other, to break them up, to make any legal charges the ex tried to press just return and affect her, to make him obsess about how letting my client go was the worst idea he ever made – that she was the one who loves him most, – to make him forgive her, love her, and need her, and reach out ASAP.

The original prognosis: I won't lie. It was bad. My client had been crazy when she lost him. He was very angry with her. His ex wanted him more for vindictive and financial reasons than for romantic or honest reasons, and if she was with another man, she'd still be blackmailing him. If I didn't do the work, he'd eventually lose the ex, but he was not ever intending on going back to my client. He had bad past experiences, and felt she was unstable and not ever to be trusted again. I said…in 6-8 weeks he would be broken up with the ex, but he was going to be leery of coming back even if he wanted to because of my client's behavior. Further, the ex might continue to try to press him for money, even if broken up BUT that she would at least still be screwed if she pressed charges.

The outcome. I finished the work on 30th of July of this year. Within 2 days, the ex and my client's target broke up after finding his ex texting another man racy pics. Within 3 days after that, a mutual friend reported that the ex had been charged with criminal threatening and filing a false report against another (if not more, we aren't sure,) and they were definitely not together. So now the ex lost any credibility and the child was no longer at risk. Then in maybe 2-3 days he unblocked her and yet hadn't messaged my client. Last night he messaged her that he was so sorry, that he couldn't stop thinking about how he messed up, and she'd been constantly on his mind since the end of July. That something he had seen on TV had suddenly made him realize that my client was the only woman who had done him right, the only one he really ever deeply loved, and that he was less than a man for giving into that crazy ex. He said he was sure my client hated him, and he was so sorry, that she could totally blame him for all of it but to just know he loves her, and he should have kept things right between them and married her, as he wished now they'd be together.

We were skeptical. The message was at 2am. Drinking makes people say stuff. So I told her just tell him she appreciates him telling her so, and not push him. About 2ish hours ago, she messaged me. They had talked around lunch, and he said he was so sorry, that he needs her, that he wants her to be the mother of his children, and then he asked her to marry him!

Holy smokes! That's a 2 week or so turn around. He even got an engagement ring! She sent me a pic!!!! WOW WOW WOW.

    I'm on FIRE!!!

Also, congrats to my client! I am so happy! SO HAPPY SO HAPPY!

  • Holy mackerel, just when you think people can't get any more crazy, I woke up (with 4 hours of sleep, no less,) to a whole boatload of it…even family and friends. πŸ˜› For example, I do not control PayPal (and I'd not be living off of Hamburger Helper this week since it's bill week if I did, ha ha,) but I've had  people emailing vicious email attacks for "not sending the bill," when it comes 45 minutes after I'd sent it. Yes, seriously…people were mad at me because they felt I was slighting them by not sending a bill… I mean, usually people seem to prefer to take as much time as possible in paying that. πŸ˜‰

And so much of this was absolutely ridiculous. I had someone tell me she's going to go make up a bunch of bullshit about me and post it online because I didn't confirm her (3 week late) payment on my day off. Yes, seriously. I'll remember that if I don't drop everything at like 5am and tell you I got a payment from you finally, after waiting long after it was in arrears that I'm going to have you post fake stuff about me all over the interwebs. Noted. πŸ˜‰

So, since I was about at the end of my rope with dealing with this (and I will assure you, if any of you saw me around 10am, you'd have crossed the street since I was obviously pretty much done with dealing with assoholic behaviors, especially with things obviously outside of my control like how long the payment processor takes to send you a payment, and was starting to get that little  "rage-vein," popping out of my forehead, lol,) I said to myself…I need to chat with my old friend, Paimon. I mean, it was either that or I was probably going to spontaneously combust.

It was in giving her an offering – pretty much all I can afford to give at the moment because we are also dealing with bill week, and the hospital bills from when I was in the hospital in May are enough to buy a freaking house, – that I realized I really want to give her more. She has her own altar, but I've wanted to improve it for forever. I know exactly what she needs to have it set just perfectly. I wanted to sculpt an image of her as well to put onto said altar, to embroider her seal on the perfect cloth in silk thread…I have it all perfect in my head, but then I have people deferring payment for a million years only to become abusive when they do pay. :/ So I told her as much…that I really wanted to do all this in gratitude for all that she does for me and my household, and lamented my limitations as I'd need x in extra cash to even be able to put aside what I'd need for  that improvement.

Of course, whining to a spirit does not mean that they are like "here's some extra cash, yo, get me that shiznit!" If only everything was so easy. πŸ˜‰ It means a lot more to any spirit if you put in your own efforts to do something for them. This isn't to say they won't help you on something when you ask for their help, ha ha, but saying "I want money to get you something cool," isn't really the same…it's like asking someone for money so you can buy them a gift. πŸ˜‰ And if you think about it, I'm kvetching to my old friend Paimon, not really doing much else, so I didn't expect it to start raining cash or that suddenly everyone's going to be happy and kind, etc.

So what could I do? I mean, I can ask Paimon for money to pay my bills, and I can specify how much, and give an offering – I give her offerings for free all of the time, but asking her for money so I can make her a hella altar is not really the same thing. Maybe she wouldn't be peeved, but if I were in her shoes, I kind of would be if someone asked me that. πŸ˜› I do know I owe her a debt of gratitude for all she does for me already.

Like the moment I spoke to her, instantly the crazy stuff in my inbox stopped. It may very well start up again, having likely jinxed myself by so saying (ha ha,) but it went from "batshit crazy all over" to "everyone is pleasant and fantastic."

So, I mean, I could fundraise, and that is an awesome way to deal with things, but everyone is dealing with bill week, so that might not do much. I can assure you when I run a sale right around when everyone is dealing with bills it doesn't net that much in extra sales. This isn't mystical, it's just economics! πŸ˜‰ And I can't really borrow any money, because when shit went down (remember when I was in the hospital in May? Errrrghhh) everyone pitched in – some more than others, – and so it is like…I can't borrow either. I have a good idea of what I need though, and this is going to be mega big, and I really want to do it. I mean, it's a dream I have that is pretty big…

So it came to me, and it is what it is, think of this as a voluntary raffle. If you do not want to be in on it because there is going to be some people uncomfortable with that, I'm not going to put your cash towards this goal. I made the amount so that it will reflect needing to cover the bills to keep running the business, whilst also having enough to be put towards getting this mega altar.

Here it is – I will give one winner a free five week spellcasting package (called the "one month package" by many clients,) and if you're already set and have yourself a package deal or just like this other offer better, you can switch this to one year of free readings (limit to 4 readings per month, – if you already have a package deal on readings, the year starts when your prepaid readings are used up) and to make sure banned jerks don't try to get in on it, all you  have to do is buy something. For every $50 spent, I will give you one ticket. And because some people just like throwing money at me (ha ha,) if you're just looking to get some tickets, I will sell 5 tickets for $25 so long as that's all you're buying. See, services cost ME money, but buying tickets does not. πŸ˜‰ It is a random drawing, so the more entries you have in, the more likely you'll win.

Until I've gotten the funds (and I'm dedicating all the extra I have to this, because Paimon has pulled me out of jams and brought to me so many things I've wanted that she deserves it,) the raffle is going on. Please get in on it if you want in on it. πŸ™‚

  • Hey Occulties,

So, as I said in this article, there is such a thing as pushing someone too far with your behavior, and this article and the one I'd linked previously may have arrived too late for a few of my hopeful readers. :/ However, it never hurts to at least try to fix things up, right? πŸ˜€

So, first thing's first – remember, most people – the human race, in general, that is, – do not like to admit fault for their behaviors, even to themselves, and often project blame on to anyone but themselves for their problems. So, this is why your buddy is cussing out the "stupid electric company" when he has his lights shut off for not paying his bill, or why someone else you know is raging about his "piece of shit car" that broke down because he didn't change the oil for 2 years. This often holds true in relationships as well. Your friend says his girlfriend is selfish and crazy when she pays all his bills but couldn't lend him $20, or your other friend says she can't believe what a pigsty her house is, when her boyfriend does all of the cleaning and cooking and works full-time, but she works part time and never cleans a thing. This is an obvious deflection of blame, but it happens in more subtle ways, too… So if you have a reconciliation target that you feel is angry or alienated towards you, and you can't really fathom why they would be, take a moment to consider your own behavior. I am not suggesting anyone reading is necessarily the party which caused the rift, but it never hurts to consider these actions so that when things start to improve between you two, it doesn't get all messed up again right away. We're all dicks to someone without realizing it sometimes.

Alright, so whatever the cause of the anger in your target – deserved or not, – this spell is designed to calm them as well as to soften and sweeten them for you. The targets which will show results the fastest are going to be people you are still on speaking terms with and/or who you see often. If this person is giving you the silent treatment, it will take longer for them to show you that they've softened towards you. DO NOT AGGRAVATE THE TARGET WITH UNWANTED CONTACT OR EMOTIONAL DIATRIBES WHILE USING THIS SPELL.

    You will need:
A personal item belonging to the target (blood is best, but hair, fingernail or toenail clippings, fabric from worn and unwashed underwear, or even a used napkin can be used,)
    A glass jar
    Sugarcubes
    Granulated sugar
    Pink rose petals (dried preferably)
    Balm of Gilead buds
    Poppy seed
Sweetener (honey or Karo syrup work well,)
A double boiler (if you have it – if not you can use a saucepan)
A piece of brown paper bag with all edges torn off
A permanent marker or ball point pen (I suggest green ink, but black will do)
    A pink candle
Pink or white tea light candles
    Tranquility oil
    Love Me oil
    Reconciliation oil
A fireproof container like a cake tin or pie plate
A candle holder or sand (like traction sand)

This spell starts like a basic candle magic spell. The majority of my readers are familiar with simple candle magic, and so this first part of the spell should not be difficult for those of you who have done a few simple candle burning rituals.

Mix the herbal ingredients and the granulated sugar in a bowl or with a mortar and pestle (do not use the sweetener or sugar cubes yet,) in about equal parts. Hold your power (writing) hand over the mixture, and try to envision your target approaching you with a sweet and tender countenance while sending pink and white energy into the herbs as you say "(Full name of target,) your anger and resentment abates and is replaced with sweetness, love, and compassion," seven times. If you don't feel you can send energy, just try to keep an image of your target in mind while saying the chant. Sometimes it is easier if you keep an image of the target where you can see him or her as you do this, so feel free to place an image of this person nearby.

Write out your name paper with the target's name written seven times like this:
    John Smith
    John Smith
    John Smith
    John Smith
    John Smith
    John Smith
    John Smith
And cross this with the command "(Name of target,) feel only love, sweetness, express only kindness and compassion for (name of petitioner)," written seven times in the same fashion. We've been over name papers before, but "crossing" means you turn the paper so the names are running vertical and write the commend horizontally, making a "grid" out of your command and your target's name. Spit in the center of the paper, place your personal item into the center, and fold towards you. Now turn the paper, and fold towards you again, to quarter the paper.

Now take your pink candle and if this is a taper candle, carve the command "(Name of target,) feel only love, sweetness, express only kindness and compassion for (name of petitioner)," up one side (up is base to wick) with a nail, pin, or sharp implement. If you're using a glass encased candle, you can write this up one side with a sharpie. If you are using a figural candle (not recommended) set it as I have instructed previously, and if using a tea light (not recommended,) do not carve anything at all. Place 1-3 drops of each oil in your right hand and anoint the candle from base to wick with seven pulls UP (base to wick,) if using a taper or figural. Puncture 5 holes in the top of a glass encased candle and try to get 1-2 drops of each oil in each hole. If using a tea light, place a few drops of oil on your right index finger and then draw this over the top of the candle in a clockwise motion. Now, hold the candle in both hands and try to envision your target coming to you with a sweet and tender countenance as you say "(Full name of target,) your anger and resentment abates and is replaced with sweetness, love, and compassion," seven times. Roll the candle in the herbal mixture (or sprinkle a little on top for tea lights and glass encased lights.

Now you will need your name paper after this – unburnt and unsoiled. This means you need to place it beneath sand under a free standing candle, or you need to place it under your pie plate all together, or you need to use a FIREPROOF candleholder (brass ones work well, which covers the paper. I advocate the use of sand as it is fireproof AND if you're using a candle holder it offers further heat protection to surfaces. Please always use proper caution and firesafety. When I use glass-encased candles I actually use large coffee cans, place a bit of sand in the bottom, put the name paper in, then place the candle in on top, and then I place sand around it to the lip of the can. Since the candle has to burn out all the way, please practice caution. πŸ™‚

Okay, so assuming everything is in position on the altar, light the candle, and holding both hands on either side of it, try to envision your target in your mind's eye, again coming to you with an expression of love and compassion, while trying to send pink and white energy into the candle and, keeping this in your mind's eye, say "(Name of target,) love me, forgive me, feel calmness and tranquility. Only peace and love and kindness between us both. You feel sweetness and warmth and desire me over all others. As is my will, so be it!" Allow the candle to burn out.

When it has done so, remove the name paper (taking care not to let the witness sample fall out,) and dispose of the rest (honestly, I throw the sand outside, and I chuck the wax in the trash. You can save the reusable items like your pie plate, or candle holder, heh.)

Now the reason I LOVE permanent marker, is I mark my sugar cubes for this next part, but you don't have to. I put the target's initials on the sugar cubes. πŸ™‚ You will need SEVEN sugar cubes, and anoint two with Tranquility oil (just put a drop or two of oil on it,) two with Love Me oil, and 2 with Reconciliation, then the final one with one drop of each oil. As you anoint these say "(Name of target,) feel only love, sweetness, express only kindness and compassion for (name of petitioner)," each time you anoint one, and set these aside. Using a double boiler, place about a cup and a half of water and a cup and a half of sweetener (you will want to make enough to fill your jar, so your mileage may vary) on your stove and over a very very low heat, begin to slowly heat your mixture, sprinkling in some of your herbal mixtures (just a pinch,) seven times and saying "(Name of target,) feel only love, sweetness, express only kindness and compassion for (name of petitioner,)" each time you add a pinch. Make sure you are warming this slowly – it should not get super hot, or even boil. Stir this clockwise after you add each pinch of herbal mixture and try to keep an image of your target in your mind's eye. Now, add your cubes one by one, saying "(Name of target,) your hard heart melts for me (or petitioner), and you are filled with sweetness and love for only me," as you add each cube. Keep stirring. πŸ˜‰ Once your cubes have melted, turn off the heat. Place your name paper and about a half a cup of sugar into your jar. Add the warm mixture to your jar. Seal the jar. Now light a tea light on top of the jar and say, "Warmth and sweetness (name of target) feels towards me, all anger and hurt now is released. Love and kindness and compassion within you swells, only sweetness and love for me by this spell! As is my will, so be it!" Allow the tea light to burn out. Repeat the burning of the tealight and the chant you used when lighting the tea light (after making the jar,) each time you light a new one each monday, Wednesday, and Friday until the target has softened and is kind and sweet towards you.

I'm sure there will be questions (there always are) or found typos (there always are,) so you know where to find me.

    Happy Spellcastin!
